CC1 technical traffic clearance of Anhao Bridge


(Construction) - Celebrating the 42nd anniversary of the liberation of the South and reunification of the country and the International Labor Day on May 1, Construction Company No. 1 - Joint Stock Company (CC1) held a ceremony to open the An Hao bridge across the Cai River. (a branch of Dong Nai River) after more than 1 year of construction.


Deputy Minister of Construction Bui Pham Khanh and leaders of Dong Nai province and CC1 performed the ceremony of cutting traffic bandwidth of An Hao bridge on the morning of April 30.

An Hao Bridge is an additional item of the project "building a new Dong Nai bridge and the 2 ends of the bridge" invested by CC1 in the form of BOT. The project is designed with pre-stressed reinforced concrete with a total length of 2,153m, of which the bridge length and bridgehead road are 840m long, 23m wide with 6 lanes, the rest is the road leading to the bridge. Total investment capital for the entire project is 939 billion VND.

The bridge has a main bridge structure of 1 continuous span, balanced cantilevered reinforced concrete box girder and 7 Super T simple beam spans. The shore side leading to Vung Tau intersection includes 03 spans, the shore side of Cu Lao Hiep Island The bridge consists of 4 spans that are continuously connected to the bridge deck.

Mr. Le Huu Viet Duc, General Director of CC1 said: To complete the project, investor CC1 mobilized materials, machinery, equipment and human resources to urgently deploy right from the first days of project commencement. Thanks to the active day and night work of more than 500 workers and engineers from construction consulting and supervision units..., the project was completed on March 25, more than 2 months ahead of schedule.

The completed project along with the Vung Tau intersection being put into use has resolved traffic congestion at the Vung Tau intersection and completed the traffic system in the area. Completed An Hao Bridge shortens travel time from Bien Hoa city center to Vung Tau intersection. In particular, it will awaken the potential of Cu Lao Hiep Hoa (Cu Lao Pho), creating a driving force for economic and social development of the locality and surrounding areas.

In addition, this is also an important hub area with adjacent traffic routes such as National Highway 1, National Highway 51, Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway and Ben Thanh - Suoi Tien metro line...

Recently, additional items to the new Dong Nai bridge project and the two ends of the bridge have been constructed: Amata overpass, Tam Hiep underpass, Vung Tau underpass, An Hao bridge... All completed. The city has contributed to reducing traffic congestion, shortening journeys and connecting Dong Nai, Binh Duong, and Ho Chi Minh City provinces on Highway 1.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Dinh Quoc Thai, Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee said: The inauguration of An Hao Bridge is a meaningful gift to celebrate the 42nd anniversary of the liberation of the South and the reunification of the country.

The opening of An Hao Bridge also fulfilled the dream of the people of Bien Hoa City and the people of Hiep Hoa Island after many years of expectation, shortening the travel time from the center of Bien Hoa City to the Southeast provinces. .

This is an important project of Dong Nai province and Bien Hoa city, helping to solve the problem of infrastructure economic development in sync with the socio-economic development of the city and Dong Nai province in general. At the same time, An Hao Bridge is also one of the key projects that Dong Nai province directed to implement in the period 2015-2017.

“Previously, it took nearly 30 minutes for vehicles from the center of Bien Hoa to Highway 1 and Highway 51, but now with this bridge connection, the time has been shortened to only 5-10 minutes. After having An Hao Bridge, it will awaken the development potential of Hiep Hoa Island, this land will promise to become the pearl of Bien Hoa City," Mr. Thai emphasized.

An Hao Bridge looks towards Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park and goes to Vung Tau intersection.

Mr. Thai also asked the investor to continue completing the remaining items to promote the effectiveness of the project. At the same time, agencies and departments of Dong Nai and Bien Hoa City must well manage construction management and traffic systems to create motivation for local economic and social development.

Individuals and collectives who constructed An Hao Bridge were awarded Certificates of Merit by Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee.

On this occasion, Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee also awarded Certificates of Merit to 7 collectives and 19 individuals who performed well in the construction of An Hao Bridge ahead of schedule. CC1 also awarded Certificates of Merit to 7 excellent groups performing the task of building An Hao Bridge.

The last An Hao ferry is at 10:00 a.m. on April 30 before opening time.

After opening to traffic, people happily circulated on An Hao bridge.

Even though it was sunny at noon, people still happily walked on the bridge that they had wished for for so long.

An Hao ferry has completed its decades-long mission of ferrying passengers across the river.
