Mekong No. 1 Construction Investment Joint Stock Company (CC1-MEKONG) takes care of Tet for workers


In the days leading up to the Lunar New Year, along with promoting production and business activities to complete and exceed the 2018 plan, CC1-MEKONG urgently deployed Tet care activities for workers.
In the last days of the year, production and business activities of CC1-MEKONG Concrete production in Ho Chi Minh City is even more vibrant as more than 500 workers are trying to produce shipments in time to deliver to partners before the Lunar New Year break.
CC1-MEKONG is a subsidiary of Construction Corporation No. 1 - JSC, specializing in producing commercial concrete and precast concrete of all kinds. 2018 continues to be a prosperous year for this business, because in addition to providing products for domestic businesses, the Company has expanded cooperation with foreign partners.
Mr. Nguyen Van Son, Chairman of the Board of Directors - General Director of the Company said: Staying ahead of opportunities as Vietnam increasingly integrates deeply into the world economy, in 2018, the Company invested tens of billions of VND to invest in motorbikes, equipment, and mixing plants. At the same time, strengthen training and improve skills and industrial behavior for workers. Thanks to that, product quality is increasingly improved, meeting customer needs. In 2018, the Company produced and consumed nearly 500,000 m3 commercial concrete with total revenue of over 700 billion VND, an increase of 140.8 % compared to 2017.
Ms. Hoang Thi Huong, President of the Company's Trade Union, said: What every worker looks forward to most at the end of the year is the Tet bonus. Therefore, in order for 100% officials and workers to have Tet, right from the beginning of the 11th lunar month, the union conducted a survey and captured the thoughts and aspirations of the workers. On that basis, propose to the Board of Directors a Tet bonus plan with an average bonus of 25 million VND/person. In addition, the Trade Union gave Tet gifts to 100% officials and workers, worth 500,000 VND/piece. At the same time, a budget of 50 million VND was spent to visit and give gifts to 25 households of workers in difficult circumstances and with serious illnesses.
This year, in addition to the Tet bonus, so that employees have the opportunity to meet, interact, increase camaraderie and congratulate a successful 2018 and welcome 2019, the Company's Board of Directors organized the last year-end meeting. 2018 and New Year 2019. During the ceremony, a lucky draw program was held with a total prize value of nearly 150 million VND.   
In particular, responding to the movement of supporting train tickets to bring workers home to celebrate Tet, this year the Company has supported vehicles, plane tickets, train tickets, and cars for 77 on-duty workers. The next amount is 385 million VND (each portion is 5 million VND). This is the concern and sharing of the Company's Board of Directors towards the employees. Especially, it has helped employees proactively buy tickets early, save costs, return home to celebrate Tet and come to the Company on schedule for production.
