Construction Corporation No. 1 organizes a golf tournament to raise funds for charity to build Rach Yen bridge


"CC1 & Friends Award" is a sports event organized by Construction Corporation No. 1 with the goal of raising funds for charity. This year's season brought together more than 200 athletes from units, partners, and customers, competing within 1 day (September 28, 2019) at the golf course in District 9, Ho Chi Minh City. Speaking at program, Mr. Huynh Tan Tri, Deputy General Director of CC1 said: "CC1 & Friends Tournament" was successfully organized after many years of experience, the tournament gathered many new and interesting things. The award ceremony and charity fundraising took place right at the golf course after the tournament ended. The raised amount of 140 million VND was given to the Corporation's Trade Union to build a new Rach Yen bridge, in Thanh Ninh hamlet, Thanh Loi commune, Binh Tan district, Vinh Long province..

 After more than 2 months of construction, on December 20, 2019, Rach Yen bridge was inaugurated and put into use in the excitement of the government and local people. Rach Yen Bridge is built of concrete, solid reinforced steel, 22m long, 2.7m wide, 2 ton load, 4m high, replacing the old bridge that was severely damaged: broken pillars, narrow bridge deck now collapsed. , subsidence. The project has a total investment of 187 million VND, of which CC1 supports 140 million VND, the rest is contributed by the local government.

Mr. Huynh Thanh Tung, Secretary of Thanh Loi Commune Party Committee, said: Thanks to the bridge, it helps people and students travel smoothly and safely, transport goods easily, and meet the needs of economic development. local. The government and people in the commune will preserve and renovate the bridge to make it durable, so as not to disappoint the generosity of the Board of Directors and employees of CC1 Corporation.
Rach Yen Bridge was inaugurated before Tet 2020, helping nearly 300 students get to school safely and reducing traffic pressure for more than 250 households. The bridge affirms CC1's sharing with the development of the country in general and disadvantaged localities in particular.
