Morning of 19th May 2022, in Gia Nghia city, Dak Nong province, in the encouraging atmosphere to celebrate the 132nd anniversary mark the birth of dear President Ho Chi Minh, Dak Nong People's Committee held the launching ceremony with “Planting to perpetuate the memory of Uncle Ho” as the theme. Trees were planted by organized concentrated afforestation and scattered tree planting throughout the province.

Attending the launching ceremony were leaders of ministries, branches and the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union. Regarding the representatives of Dak Nong province, there were Mr. Ngo Thanh Danh, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly; Dieu K’Re - member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Permanent Secretaries of the Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Luu Van Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Mr. Ho Van Muoi - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee… On behalf of Construction Corporation No. 1 - JSC (CC1), there was Mr. Phan Van Chinh - Deputy General Director leading the CC1 delegation to participate in this event.

Secretary of Dak Nong’s Provincial Party Committee gave a speech at the ceremony emphasizing the special significance of trees for humans. The goal for this event is to launch and propagate Uncle’s teaching: “For the sake of ten years cultivating trees, for the sake of one hundred years cultivating humans” to all the citizens. This is also an opportunity for the Communist Party. People of all ethnic groups in the province raise their awareness, plant trees to cause forests, and contribute to the development of the green economy, creating a green and sustainable living environment.

Responding to the call of the provincial leaders, all officials, employees, youth union members ... simultaneously went out to plant trees right after the ceremony. With a lively atmosphere, all 1,000 three-leaf pine trees were planted around the area of N'Trang Long Hero Monument.

Following the procedure of the event, representatives of CC1 donated 100 million VND to support the tree planting festival of Dak Nong province, CC1 realizes that afforestation and tree planting are important jobs associated with the comprehensive development process not only for today but also for future generations.

According to the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Dak Nong province, in 2022, the province aims to plant more than 2.8 million trees; in which, afforestation concentrates nearly 1.4 million trees, agro-forestry more than 300,000 trees, scattered trees over 240,000 trees, multi-purpose planting nearly 1 million trees. Dak Nong aims to achieve forest cover of over 40% by 2025 and over 42% by 2030.
