On the morning of February 6, 2023, Construction Corporation No. 1 - Joint Stock Company (CC1) participated in "The launching ceremony of the emulation to complete the foundation of Quang Trach 1 Thermal Power Plant" and "The launching ceremony of the New Year tree planting year 2023". in Quang Trach district, Quang Binh province. 

Attending the program "The launching ceremony to complete the foundation of Quang Trach 1 Thermal Power Plant" were Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Board of Members of Electricity of Vietnam (EVN) Duong Quang Thanh; leaders of EVN and contractors of the project. On the side of Quang Binh province, there were Mr. Phan Manh Hung, Provincial Member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and representatives of leaders of departments, branches and localities.

It is known that the Quang Trach 1 Thermal Power Plant Project has a total project investment of up to 41,130 billion VND, with a total area of about 48.6 hectares in Vinh Son village, Quang Dong commune, Quang Trach district, Quang Binh province. . Project implementation time is 48 months, type of package contract. In which, the time to complete Unit 1 is 42 months, and the time to complete Unit 2 is 48 months. 

Previously, on June 17, 2021, EVN held the signing ceremony of construction contract for package 15 (EPC-QT1) including design, supply of goods and construction (EPC) of Thermal Power Plant project. Quang Trach 1 with a consortium of contractors including 03 enterprises in the construction industry from 03 different countries, namely Mitsubishi Corporation - representative from Japan, Hyundai E&C Company representing Korea, Corporation Construction No. 1 – JSC (CC1) representative of Vietnam

This is proof that CC1 has been able to stand shoulder to shoulder with major international contractors from leading economies in the Asia-Pacific region to participate in the implementation of large-scale projects. This. That is something to be proud of for CC1 in particular and the domestic construction industry in general, affirming that from now on, Vietnamese enterprises have no longer a gap with professional international contractors.

Also within the framework of the program, Mr. Do Duc Hung - Deputy General Director and Chairman of EVN Trade Union launched an emulation movement on the construction site of Quang Trach 1 Thermal Power Plant. In which, calling on all employees Ministry of workers and employees, construction contractors, supervision and consulting contractors together unite, respond to and well implement the creative labor emulation movement to achieve many high achievements, contributing to excellent completion. progress, quality, environmental assurance and absolute safety in construction.

Quang Trach I Thermal Power Plant Project is a national key project in the energy field, which is expected to create a new breakthrough for the development of the energy industry in Quang Binh province, thereby contributing to the development of Quang Binh province. contributing to promoting socio-economic development of the province, creating stable and long-term jobs for local workers, especially highly qualified workers.

After the Chairman of the EVN Trade Union launched the emulation contents, the contractors and related units together signed a commitment to complete the construction of the foundation of Quang Trach I Thermal Power Plant with quality assurance and on schedule. the proposed level, completing the construction of the foundation of the work items before January 23, 2024.

On the occasion of the "launching ceremony to complete the foundation of Quang Trach 1 Thermal Power Plant", the investor and the contractor consortium of Mitsubishi Corporation - Hyundai E&C Company - CC1 participated in the "Launching Ceremony of the New Year Planting Festival". trees in 2023" with the goal of launching and widely propagating Uncle Ho's teaching "For the sake of ten years of planting trees, for the benefit of a hundred years of cultivating people" to all workers and people in the province.

Responding to the call of the investor, all staff and labor force simultaneously went out to plant trees right after the ceremony.
