On the afternoon of June 6, 2024, the Learning and Development Department coordinated with the Technical Department of Construction Corporation No. 1 - Joint Stock Company (CC1) to organize a knowledge sharing program on "Fire prevention and fighting in design and construction\u201d for Office staff at the Corporation Headquarters and Management Board staff through online form.<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CC1 is one of the leading enterprises in the construction field in Vietnam. With the responsibility of ensuring labor safety for all employees, the Learning and Development Department coordinated with CC1 Technical Block to organize a fire prevention knowledge sharing program in design and construction to equip knowledge, Necessary skills to deal with emergency and dangerous situations involving fires and explosive incidents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The knowledge sharing program on fire protection in design and construction was professionally organized, the program content was presented by Mr. Nguyen Van Hung - Director of MELA Co., Ltd. (MELACO) with main topics such as: Knowledge Overview of legal documents on fire prevention and fighting related to construction design and project management; Instructions on reading, understanding and applying the system of Vietnamese standard documents and foreign standards related to testing, construction and acceptance of current fire protection and finally sharing experiences and practical examples when approving design, construction and acceptance of fire protection for construction projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In fact, fire protection plays an extremely important role in every construction project, especially public works and high-rise buildings. Applying and strictly managing fire prevention measures in design and construction helps ensure safety for users and property in case of fire. This process includes assessing and identifying potential risks, thereby recommending effective fire prevention solutions such as warning systems, sprinkler systems, chat alarm systems and effective exit arrangements. .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rapporteur Nguyen Van Hung highly appreciated the learning awareness and contributions and discussions of workers at CC1 in ensuring fire safety for the Corporation's projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The program to share knowledge about fire prevention and fighting in design and construction for Technical Department staff and the Executive Board is a practical and meaningful activity because the characteristics of the Construction industry always have many potential risks and dangers. Therefore, periodic training and knowledge fostering for staff and workers is given special attention and priority by CC1's Board of Directors to be organized regularly. This not only helps workers deepen their knowledge and update shared information but also raises awareness of compliance with labor safety at each project of the Corporation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
