On June 14, 2025, Construction Corporation No. 1 \u2013 JSC (CC1) held its 2025 CC1 Technical Conference in both online and in-person formats at the Corporation's headquarters. The event provided a platform for project management boards and specialized departments to update on modern technical and technological trends, as well as share practical solutions and lessons learned in construction and management.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Attending the CC1 Technical Conference 2025 were Mr. Phan Huu Duy Quoc \u2013 Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Le Bao Anh \u2013 General Director, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khoi \u2013 Director of the Construction Economics Division, Ms. Nguyen Thi Bao Tran \u2013 Director of the Human Resources Management Division, managers from various departments and divisions of the company and its subsidiaries, and all employees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In his opening remarks at the Conference, Mr. Phan Huu Duy Quoc \u2013 Chairman of the Board of Directors \u2013 shared: \u201cThrough the relaunch of the CC1 Technical Conference, the leadership team hopes to create a forum for everyone to share information on technology, project management, etc. At the same time, this is also an opportunity for the presenters in particular, and all attendees in general, to hone their presentation, discussion, and critical thinking skills. In the future, the CC1 Technical Conference aims to be held annually at the Corporation level. Simultaneously, I also hope that the Departments and Divisions will organize similar conferences on a smaller scale. This will be the foundation for enhancing the capabilities and leadership of CC1 employees.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The CC1 Technical Conference 2025 is held in the spirit of inspiring innovation, encouraging pioneering and breakthrough thinking to contribute to the overall development of CC1. It is also an opportunity to connect engineers and leaders, creating opportunities for networking, exchanging expertise, and building a spirit of cooperation and creativity throughout the company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Within the framework of the program, representatives from the Project Management Boards and specialized Departments presented 14 topics, focusing on technical and technological solutions, project management methods, and lessons learned. Each presentation was a story distilled from real-world experiences, and also demonstrated the implementation capabilities, solution-oriented thinking, and mastery of technology of the CC1 engineering team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Specifically, under the theme "Technology and Engineering," the CC1 Technical Conference 2025 marked a professional milestone with many modern and practical solutions such as the application of BIM in civil and industrial projects, identifying some causes and remedial measures for concrete cracking (non-structural), and measures to protect PHC pile joints in varying seawater conditions\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the "Project Management" themed group, attendees learned about the Last Planner System \u2013 a construction management methodology that enhances plan reliability \u2013 and Agile \u2013 a methodology focused on customer value and rapid adaptation to change. Experience in executing EPC contracts at the new Ho Chi Minh City Children's Hospital construction project was also a topic that attracted considerable interest from the audience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Under the theme "Lessons Learned," the CC1 team had the opportunity to delve deeper into the experience of handling several technical issues during the construction of the Quang Trach I Thermal Power Plant, the use of excavated soil for river embankment construction in the Tham Luong - Ben Cat - Nuoc Len Canal infrastructure and environmental improvement project, the treatment of weak soil foundations in the Mekong Delta, as well as the experience of completing and settling accounts for expressway projects. A highlight of this theme was the sharing of methods for constructing large-span composite concrete slabs used in the Phu Tho Circus and Multipurpose Performance Hall project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Throughout the event, the leadership team directly provided numerous expert comments, clarifying the technical solutions and management methods presented. These comments not only guided practical application but also helped participants grasp and thoroughly understand the value and feasibility of each solution, thereby strengthening their knowledge and improving their ability to handle real-world situations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The relaunch of the CC1 Technical Conference is the next step in CC1's strategy for training high-quality personnel. Prior to this, on June 12th and 13th, 2025, CC1 organized a training program on "Practical Project Management for Leaders." This was an opportunity for CC1's leadership and its member companies to review their management thinking, adopt new approaches, and agree on a core competency framework for project management, thereby gradually mastering the Project Management Framework (PMF), creating a foundation for synchronized direction and coordination throughout the company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These activities help CC1 standardize international knowledge, enhance technical capabilities, and improve comprehensive management, from personnel and management to leadership. All of this aims to create a solid internal foundation for CC1 to be ready to take on a series of national mega-projects in the coming period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
