On August 29, 2025, Construction Corporation No. 1 \u2013 JSC (CC1), in collaboration with Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, held the opening ceremony for the intensive training program "High-Speed Rail \u2013 Urban Rail".<\/b><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The program, lasting 3 months and costing 1 billion VND, is part of a comprehensive cooperation agreement between CC1 and Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology worth 1 million USD over 5 years, focusing on human resource training, scientific research, technology transfer in the construction sector, and student support.<\/span><\/p>

The program is designed to enhance the capabilities of CC1's engineers and technical staff by updating them with the most in-depth and modern knowledge in the field of high-speed rail and urban rail.<\/span><\/p>

Mr. Phan Huu Duy Quoc, Chairman of the Board of Directors of CC1, shared: \u201cTraining and developing high-quality human resources for high-speed rail and urban rail systems \u2013 a relatively new field in Vietnam \u2013 is a key task for CC1 to pioneer in mastering the technology. The training content includes key modules such as: Construction technology of retaining walls for urban railway and high-speed railway projects; Construction of elevated stations and viaducts; Tunnel boring machine (TBM) technology; Prefabricated technology for railway projects; Soil improvement solutions for railway projects; Geotechnical monitoring during the construction of urban railway systems; Rail systems, power supply, and signaling;\u2026<\/span><\/p>

In addition to theoretical knowledge, the program also features teaching and mentorship from a team of reputable domestic and international experts \u2013 those who have directly managed and implemented numerous large-scale infrastructure and railway projects.<\/span><\/p>

In particular, the high-quality expert force assembled from the North-South Expressway Project Phase 2, the urban railway system in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, and the North-South high-speed railway line, are strategic national infrastructure projects expected to create a turning point for transportation connectivity and promote socio-economic development.<\/span><\/p>

These projects require exceptionally stringent technical specifications, state-of-the-art machinery and technology, and a highly skilled workforce. High-speed rail, in particular, demands absolute precision at every stage, from research to construction.<\/span><\/p>

CC1 stated that, in line with the spirit of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, building a modern and synchronized infrastructure system is identified as one of the three strategic breakthroughs for sustainable national development.<\/span><\/p>

The goal by 2030, with a vision to 2045, is to fundamentally establish the national infrastructure framework, while prioritizing the strong development of key infrastructure sectors such as energy, information technology, major cities, and especially environmental protection and climate change adaptation infrastructure.<\/span><\/p>

In line with that strategic vision, CC1, as a leading construction contractor in Vietnam, has concretized it by continuously investing in human resources, science and technology, and international cooperation.<\/span><\/p>

That commitment, in collaboration with Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, has been realized through many concrete activities: accepting students for internships at the project and office, awarding scholarships to students of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, participating in career fairs, and especially serving as a Diamond Sponsor of the ICSCEA 2025 International Conference held last July.<\/span><\/p>

These efforts clearly demonstrate CC1's dedicated commitment and long-term vision in cultivating knowledge, inspiring aspirations, and building a solid foundation for the new generation of engineers \u2013 a force that will contribute to creating a modern, integrated, and sustainable infrastructure landscape for Vietnam.<\/span><\/p>

In the coming period, CC1 will continue to expand cooperation with specialized universities nationwide, building an elite workforce to meet the increasingly high demands of developing modern and synchronized infrastructure in the context of the country's strong transformation to enter a new era, an era of national progress.<\/span><\/p>

Notably, aiming for sustainable development, CC1 focuses on promoting research and application of science and technology, innovation, digital transformation, green transformation and circular economy, with a focus on developing green transportation and smart cities.<\/span><\/p>

Established in 1979, Construction Corporation No. 1 \u2013 JSC (CC1) is one of the oldest construction companies in Vietnam, closely associated with infrastructure development and accompanying the country's progress for nearly half a century.<\/p>
