On the morning of October 9, 2025, at the headquarters of Construction Corporation No. 1 (CC1), CC1 held a working session with its partner LAWI Engineering to exchange and share opportunities for cooperation in the field of renewable energy, especially solutions for converting waste into clean energy.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>

Attending the meeting, on behalf of CC1 were Mr. Phan Huu Duy Quoc \u2013 Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Duong Xuan Sang \u2013 Head of the Technical Department, and managers from other departments. During the meeting, Mr. Phan Huu Duy Quoc emphasized: \u201cVietnam is entering a phase of accelerated clean energy development. LAWI Engineering is a leading German company specializing in renewable energy plant technology, particularly focusing on converting waste and biomass into energy. Headquartered in Kiel, Germany, and operating in Thailand, Malaysia, and other Asian countries, LAWI has developed advanced systems such as LAWI EtaComb\u00ae, LAWI EtaPlant\u00ae, and LAWI EtaLogic\u00ae, which are used in waste-to-energy plants to optimize efficiency and reduce emissions.<\/p>

CC1 affirms its pioneering position through a series of key energy projects.<\/strong><\/p>

Over nearly half a century of development, CC1 has built a solid position as a leading general contractor in the national energy and infrastructure sector. From iconic projects such as the Tri An Hydropower Plant \u2013 a source of electricity for the South after reunification, the Dak R'tih Hydropower Plant, etc., to projects like the Nghi Son 1 and Nghi Son 2 Thermal Power Plants, and the Van Phong 1 BOT project, CC1 has continuously expanded its scale and construction capacity. Simultaneously, CC1 is also a contractor for renewable energy projects such as the TTC 1 & TTC 2 Solar Power Plants, the Ham Kiem 2 Wind Power Plant, and the Khai Long Wind Power Plant.<\/p>

Currently, CC1 is constructing a series of large-scale thermal power plants nationwide. While the Quang Trach 1 Thermal Power Plant marks a milestone in international cooperation, with CC1 first participating in an EPC general contractor consortium alongside Hyundai E&C and Mitsubishi Corporation, Na Duong II is where CC1 first took on the role of "leader" in an international general contractor consortium, mastering modern circulating fluidized bed (CFB) boiler technology, demonstrating the company's maturity and leadership capabilities in the energy sector.<\/p>

Drawing on extensive experience from national-scale projects, CC1 is ready to tackle a range of renewable energy projects, especially nuclear power, areas of paramount difficulty and complexity, requiring international-level general contractor, engineering, and management expertise.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

CC1 participated in the construction of the Quang Trach 1 Thermal Power Plant \u2013 a key national project applying leading-edge environmental protection technology in Vietnam, with an electrostatic dust filter system with an efficiency of 99.75%, ensuring minimal impact on the surrounding environment.<\/span><\/b><\/em><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

International cooperation \u2013 Bridging technology and energy transition<\/b><\/span><\/p>

CC1 is currently a trusted partner of many leading international corporations and general contractors such as Taisei, Shimizu (Japan), NJPT consortium, and contractors from South Korea, China, and Europe, etc. The collaboration with LAWI Engineering further expands this network, marking a new stage of CC1's development in applying European technology to energy projects in Vietnam, contributing to improved project quality, reduced emissions, and optimized investment efficiency.<\/span><\/p>

For the period 2025\u20132027, CC1 focuses on strengthening its ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) strategy, realizing it through green solutions in construction such as using energy-efficient equipment, controlling dust and noise, treating wastewater to meet standards, shielding construction sites, and training personnel in sustainable construction practices.
