On the Can Tho \u2013 Ca Mau expressway construction site, in the days leading up to the technical opening date, the pace of construction has been pushed to its highest level. As the direct contractor involved in the project, Construction Corporation No. 1 \u2013 JSC (CC1) is focusing all its resources, from engineers and technical staff to skilled workers and machinery and equipment, to complete the items according to plan, contributing to bringing the final piece of the Eastern North-South expressway to completion on schedule.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Can Tho \u2013 Ca Mau Expressway, spanning over 110km, passes through Can Tho City, Kien Giang Province, and Ca Mau Province. It is part of the second phase of the North-South Expressway in the East, with a total investment of over 27,500 billion VND from the state budget. The project, managed by the My Thuan Project Management Board, commenced in early 2023 and is expected to open for technical traffic on December 19th. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Upon completion, the expressway will not only complete the vital North-South transportation axis but also create a significant impetus for socio-economic development, enhance inter-regional connectivity, and improve the competitiveness of the Mekong Delta region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Participating in construction under the unique conditions of the Southern Vietnam riverine region, facing numerous challenges related to geology, material sources, and weather, CC1 proactively developed a suitable construction organization plan, implemented many technical solutions simultaneously, and flexibly arranged construction according to each phase. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the construction site, CC1's teams and crews maintain a high work intensity, working continuously in multiple shifts, coordinating closely with the investor, supervisory consultant, and related units to ensure progress, quality, and labor safety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By consistently adhering to the schedule and promptly adjusting construction methods in response to emerging difficulties, CC1 has completed the assigned items according to technical requirements, making a significant contribution to the overall result, with the entire Can Tho - Ca Mau expressway now reaching approximately 951 TP2T of construction volume. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

CC1's mark on the project further affirms its capacity to implement large-scale and complex transportation infrastructure projects, as well as its accumulated experience in management and construction organization through numerous key national projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When the Can Tho \u2013 Ca Mau expressway officially opens, the distance from the center of the Mekong Delta to the southernmost point of the country will be significantly shortened, opening up new opportunities for economic development, trade, tourism, and logistics. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
