On the afternoon of January 23, 2026, at the headquarters of Construction Corporation No. 1 \u2013 JSC (CC1), CC1 held a working session with GS E&C Group (Korea) to share experiences in project implementation and speeding up timelines, and to discuss possibilities for cooperation and investment in infrastructure construction in the Vietnamese market.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Attending the meeting, on the CC1 side were Mr. Phan Huu Duy Quoc \u2013 Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Le Bao Anh \u2013 General Director, and representatives from the technical and business development departments\u2026 On the GS E&C (Korea) side were Mr. Jin Youngmin \u2013 Director of Overseas Infrastructure Business Projects, Mr. Yoon Sanghyun \u2013 Head of Overseas Infrastructure Business Department, and Mr. Pae Suwon \u2013 New Business Planning Department in the Vietnamese market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This meeting is significant in expanding international cooperation and creating a foundation for CC1 to access new models and development opportunities in the infrastructure sector, especially in the context where infrastructure investment is identified as one of the key pillars for expanding the medium- and long-term growth potential of the economy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over the past year, CC1 has achieved many outstanding milestones, continuously winning large-scale contracts and completing a series of key national projects during the peak period of December 19th, such as the Can Tho - Ca Mau Expressway, the Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot Expressway, the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3, the Dai Ngai 2 Bridge, the Dak Nong General Hospital, etc. In particular, the successful first technical flight of Long Thanh Airport clearly demonstrates CC1's capabilities in construction organization, schedule management, and quality assurance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Simultaneously, CC1 continues to be entrusted by localities and state management agencies with the implementation of many projects of significant importance to the urban landscape and core infrastructure, such as the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Cultural Center, the T2 passenger terminal at Dong Hoi Airport, and typical PPP projects such as the Cat Lai Bridge, the Long Hung Bridge (Dong Nai 2 Bridge)... Each project is not just a construction, but also a measure of CC1's reputation, capacity, and social responsibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Keeping pace with the strong wave of public investment and the trend of implementing sustainable PPP projects, CC1 is accelerating its transformation with a dual development strategy of general contractor and investor. Leveraging its track record in numerous key national infrastructure projects, along with its increasingly refined financial, technological, and management foundations, CC1 aims to expand its construction market share, consolidate its position as a leading contractor in Vietnam, and gradually expand into the international market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The meeting between CC1 and GS E&C is expected to open up new avenues for international cooperation, further affirming CC1's increasingly prominent role in the construction and infrastructure value chain, and making a positive contribution to the sustainable development of Vietnam's infrastructure in the coming period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
