On the morning of June 3rd, 2026, at the headquarters of Construction Corporation No. 1 \u2013 JSC (CC1), CC1 held a working session with representatives of PowerChina to connect, share directions, and exchange cooperation opportunities in the fields of infrastructure, energy, and urban transportation, as well as to collaborate on large-scale projects in Vietnam.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Attending the meeting, on behalf of CC1 were Mr. Phan Huu Duy Quoc \u2013 Chairman of the Board of Directors, along with representatives from the business development and project management departments. On behalf of PowerChina were Mr. Ocean Du \u2013 Vice President for the Asia-Pacific region, Mr. Zhang Wentao \u2013 Deputy General Director, and Ms. Ngo Thi Cam Tu \u2013 Deputy General Director of PowerChina Vietnam Co., Ltd., along with representatives from specialized units.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the meeting, both sides provided an overview of their capabilities, development orientations, and discussed future cooperation opportunities in the fields of urban railways, transportation infrastructure, and energy projects. Simultaneously, the two units also discussed the potential application of digitalization on construction sites, particularly exploring solutions for filtering sea sand to diversify material sources for large-scale infrastructure projects in the context of Vietnam's increased public investment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over more than 46 years of formation and development, CC1 has made its mark through numerous key projects in the fields of transportation infrastructure, civil engineering, and energy industry. To continue conquering national strategic projects, CC1 focuses on strengthening its internal capabilities and investing in in-depth training for its personnel. The Corporation also enhances the application of data management systems, digital transformation, and continuously expands its network of international partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Previously, in the Metro Line 1 Project, CC1 was responsible for the construction of the Ba Son and City Theatre stations. In the energy sector, CC1 participated as a joint venture EPC general contractor with Hyundai E&C (Korea) and Mitsubishi Corporation (Japan) in the construction of the Quang Trach 1 Thermal Power Plant. Unit 1 of the project successfully conducted its first coal firing on May 6, 2026. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

These key projects further affirm CC1's direction in maintaining its role as a leading construction contractor, gradually participating more deeply in the value chain of national projects, creating a foundation for sustainable growth and increasing long-term strategic value.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
