Previously, operational information was compiled from numerous Excel files and various data sources. Cross-referencing between units could prolong compilation time, while changes in contracts, business plans, or critical operational records needed to be monitored throughout the implementation process.

Along with streamlining the organizational structure according to the specialized division model approved by the Board of Directors, CC1 identifies data as the foundation for the new model to operate effectively – where the General Director and the divisions work together on a unified data source.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Ho Thanh Binh, Director of Information Technology at CC1, emphasized:We didn't build a reporting system, but rather a single source of truth for the Corporation. Data from the ERP system arrives on the platform in less than 5 minutes, is fully documented, and goes directly to the decision-makers. This is the foundation for CC1's new data-driven organizational model.“

According to the project team's report, the new data platform has achieved three outstanding results. Firstly, the platform connects directly to the ERP system's operating environment, with data updated near real-time with a latency of less than 5 minutes, and has been operating stably for over 3 months. Secondly, all changes to critical objects such as investor contracts, internal subcontracting agreements, and business plans are stored in historical versions, allowing for tracing and comparison between the initial plan and the actual situation. Thirdly, in addition to ERP data, the platform also receives, standardizes, and integrates data from external business reports, creating a complete operational picture for managers.

According to the project team's report, the new data platform has achieved three outstanding results.

Based on that platform, four official operational dashboards have been announced. Accordingly, the 'SLA' dashboard helps users monitor compliance with deadlines for processing business processes; the 'Work in Progress' dashboard focuses on reflecting the value of work completed but not yet accepted or paid for on each project.

Meanwhile, the 'Construction Efficiency' dashboard compares business plans, contracts, and actual implementation; the 'Supply - Materials Trading' dashboard helps track material demand, orders, and inventory.

Notably, the dashboards are integrated directly into the ERP system and Microsoft Teams application, allowing leaders convenient access on computers and mobile devices. In addition, tools for monitoring usage and access control are implemented to ensure data security and measure the progress toward data-driven management at each unit.

Mr. Pham Le Hao, Deputy General Director of CC1, shared at the Workshop.

Along with the Dashboard system, CC1 also implemented Dash Checking User to monitor the transition and control access rights. The system records the number of users, views, and Dashboards accessed, as well as the scope of data that each account is allowed to view. This provides CC1 with a basis for assessing the transition to a data-driven management method at each unit, and allows for reviewing access rights when there are personnel or organizational changes.

Launching its digital transformation program in 2022, CC1 aims to complete a comprehensive digital ecosystem by 2027. Recognizing modern technology as a key lever for enhancing productivity and quality throughout the project lifecycle, the company has proactively implemented a series of advanced solutions in both management and actual construction.

In the next phase, CC1 will continue to deploy the weekly report data entry application for construction projects to completely replace manual forms, while expanding the Dashboard system according to the established roadmap closely aligned with the new organizational model, aiming for all functional units to operate on unified, timely, and transparent data.

The completion of the enterprise data platform and the first operational dashboard affirms CC1's determination to apply technology to management, enhance the competitiveness of a leading general contractor, and lay the groundwork for more extensive digital transformation steps in the future.

Experts believe that in the new infrastructure development cycle, construction companies that master technology faster will hold a significant advantage in terms of productivity, quality, and competitiveness.

In this context, investing in technology is not just a choice but has become a decisive factor in the strength of businesses – from the construction site helping engineers work more efficiently and safely, to the office helping standardize processes, optimize resources, and improve the accuracy of every management decision.

With systematic and practical steps taken over the past period, CC1 is gradually realizing this direction. The seamless connection between construction practice and the intelligent operating system is shaping a modern operating model, ready to enable the company to conquer increasingly large-scale and complex projects.

On September 24, 2026, at the headquarters of Construction Corporation No. 1 – JSC (CC1), a workshop on “Enterprise Data Platform & Operational Dashboard System” was held with the participation of the Board of Directors, leaders of various Divisions, Departments, and the CC1 Project Management Team.
