CC1 will apply UAVs and robots to digital construction site solutions at projects in Dong Nai province.

On May 28th, at the headquarters of the Dong Nai City Department of Construction, a handover ceremony took place for the project monitoring system at the Dong Nai City Intelligent Operations Center (IOC). The system was sponsored by Construction Corporation No. 1 – JSC (CC1). CC1 stated that it will continue to apply UAVs and robots to its digital construction site solutions in projects throughout Dong Nai City.

Mr. Le Bao Anh – General Director of CC1, presented a symbolic handover plaque for the project monitoring system at the Dong Nai City IOC to Mr. Nao Thien Anh Minh – Deputy Director of the Dong Nai City Department of Construction.

Specifically, CC1 will hand over to the Department of Construction of Dong Nai City the project progress tracking system on the Dong Nai City Intelligent Operations Center (IOC) to serve the monitoring, supervision, data aggregation, analysis, and support of the city's leadership in directing and managing projects in Dong Nai City. CC1 will also coordinate and provide support during the first 6 months of operation to ensure the system is received and utilized stably and effectively.

Previously, with the goal of supporting the national digital transformation program, especially working closely with Dong Nai City in promoting modern transportation infrastructure and building a smart city worthy of its status in the new era, CC1 proactively collaborated with XBOSS Technology Solutions Co., Ltd. (XBOSS) to develop a project tracking system. To date, the system has been integrated into Dong Nai City's IOC and is in its initial operational phase.

The system was developed as a specialized subsystem, serving not only as a monitoring tool but also as a platform to support the management work of the Dong Nai City Department of Construction, in the context of the increasingly urgent need to improve the efficiency of supervision and accelerate the progress of public investment projects, as well as construction investment activities in general. The platform allows for the aggregation and monitoring of project progress and disbursement status, while also updating and classifying difficulties arising during project implementation.

Accordingly, the system is structured into three levels of access control: Provincial leaders; the investor/reporting unit; and the system administrator (Department of Construction). With the ability to integrate data across multiple dimensions on a single dashboard, the system provides a comprehensive overview of the implementation of key projects throughout their entire lifecycle. Core indicators on progress, disbursement, and output are continuously updated, allowing for flexible access by region, investor, or specific phase.

“This is seen as a concrete step towards CC1’s desire to contribute to the digital transformation process in the construction and public investment sector of Dong Nai City. We expect the system not only to support improved project management efficiency but also to contribute to data digitization, enhance operational capacity, and strengthen data-driven decision-making capabilities for local leaders, while bringing practical benefits to investors,” said Mr. Le Bao Anh, General Director of CC1.

The platform's key advantage lies in its application of digital maps to visualize the spatial layout. From this, it's possible to immediately identify areas that have been developed or are yet to be developed through a color-coded system displayed on land clearance and construction boundaries. Simultaneously, an early warning mechanism automatically detects signs and risks of delays, unmet construction output, insufficient disbursement, or other obstacles, optimizing project management and control efficiency.

In particular, the system establishes a real-time, two-way interactive flow, allowing leaders to directly issue directives, assign tasks, set priorities, and define deadlines for each specific project, creating a closed and seamless management loop. At the operational level, the processes of investors are standardized through electronic forms and undergo multi-layered verification before integration into the IOC center, ensuring the accuracy of information for macro-management.

The system's operation is expected to create an important foundation for improving the efficiency of public investment management, while also promoting the digital transformation process in the construction and infrastructure sectors in Dong Nai City in the coming time.

Mr. Nao Thien Anh Minh, Deputy Director of the Department of Construction of Dong Nai City, highly appreciated CC1's initiative and implementation capacity in developing project management software. This system has wide application potential, especially in localities with a large number of key projects like Dong Nai.

“The proposal to coordinate and support the implementation of project progress tracking software demonstrates the spirit of partnership and resource sharing between businesses and state management agencies. The Department of Construction of Dong Nai City expects that, with support in technology, training, and operation from CC1, the system will bring high efficiency,” Mr. Minh said.

Representatives from CC1, the Department of Construction of Dong Nai City, and XBOSS jointly signed the handover minutes.

On behalf of CC1, Mr. Ho Thanh Binh – Director of Information Technology at CC1 – also stated that after handing over the project monitoring system to the Dong Nai City IOC, CC1 will continue to support the locality in its comprehensive digital transformation journey.

“CC1 will deploy a digital construction site solution integrating UAVs and field monitoring robots, serving as an early warning system for re-encroachment after land clearance – a major challenge in key infrastructure projects. This technology also allows for automatic real-time monitoring of construction progress, helping authorities detect violations promptly, reduce manual inspection costs, and improve the efficiency of smart urban management,” Mr. Binh said.
