Recently, at the Vietnam Construction Awards 2025 event, Construction Corporation No. 1 (CC1) was honored to receive the title of "Outstanding Enterprise in Digital Transformation in the Construction Industry".

The award is organized and selected by the Vietnam Construction Association – a member of the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations, and also a member of the Asian Construction Engineering Coordinating Council (ACECC).

The event brought together representatives from the Ministry of Construction, leading experts, and exemplary businesses in the fields of construction, infrastructure, and materials. CC1's recognition at the awards ceremony is not only a source of pride but also a well-deserved acknowledgment of its comprehensive digital transformation efforts, aiming for sustainable and efficient development in the technological era.

For CC1, digital transformation is not a passing trend but a core strategy in its long-term development orientation. The company clearly defines that digitizing processes, applying technology, and automating operations are the foundation for improving productivity, optimizing resources, and ensuring transparency in management. Since 2022, CC1 has officially launched a comprehensive digital transformation program with a vision to complete a complete digital ecosystem by 2027, covering all areas of operation from management, construction, finance and accounting, human resources, to project management and materials sales. In construction and project management, CC1 has applied Building Information Modeling (BIM) to many key projects. Implementing BIM helps the company effectively manage progress, control costs, mitigate risks, and ensure the highest quality of construction. Simultaneously, CC1 also uses Plaxis (Bentley) geotechnical software in foundation and structural design, enabling accurate analysis and the selection of optimal and safe construction methods.

Furthermore, CC1 has integrated AI-powered automation solutions through the Akabot platform (FPT) into its internal data processing, shortening timelines, increasing accuracy, and supporting rapid decision-making. These steps demonstrate CC1's proactive approach and high adaptability in applying technology to construction practices, a field that demands precision, discipline, and high levels of synchronization.

Thanks to continuous efforts, CC1 has significantly shortened the construction time at many large projects. In particular, Terminal T3 at Tan Son Nhat International Airport was completed 2 months ahead of schedule; Rach Mieu 2 Bridge was officially inaugurated nearly 5 months earlier than planned,… These achievements clearly demonstrate the effectiveness of applying digital technology to construction management and project operation.

During the period 2025–2027, CC1 aims to accelerate the application of an integrated ERP system across the entire Corporation and its member units, focusing on standardizing operational processes, enhancing internal connectivity, and optimizing management efficiency. This solution will help CC1 gradually build a lean, transparent, and flexible operating model, while also creating a solid foundation for expanding other digital modules such as supply chain management, asset management, human resources, and project data in the future.

Simultaneously, CC1 is also actively implementing digital transformation solutions at a series of key national projects such as: Quang Trach 1 Thermal Power Plant, Terminal 2 - Dong Hoi Airport, Long Thanh International Airport, Dai Ngai 2 Bridge, North-South Expressways, etc. The application of digital technology in the construction and management of these large-scale projects is proof of its superior construction capabilities and affirms CC1's innovative thinking, adaptability, and pioneering role in the digital transformation journey of the construction industry.
