On October 30, 2025, Construction Corporation No. 1 (CC1) held the groundbreaking ceremony for the Expansion Project of the Ho Chi Minh City – Long Thanh – Dau Giay Expressway. The project is managed by the Investment and Construction Project Management Board for Transportation Works, with CC1 acting as the main contractor, further affirming its capacity to implement large-scale projects with high technical requirements and strict deadlines.
The project to expand the Ho Chi Minh City – Long Thanh – Dau Giay Expressway (section from An Phu intersection to Ring Road 2) has a length of 3.2km, a roadbed width of 36m (8 lanes), and is classified as a special-grade project – the highest standard for urban transport infrastructure projects today.
CC1 is responsible for the construction of Package XL01, which includes the entire route, bridge section, and supporting technical infrastructure systems such as longitudinal drainage culverts, transverse drainage culverts, technical culverts, lighting systems, traffic management, etc., contributing to the completion of the infrastructure of the eastern gateway of Ho Chi Minh City – a vital route connecting the key economic region of the South.
With over 46 years of formation and development, CC1 has affirmed its position as a leading general contractor for transportation infrastructure in Vietnam, leaving its mark on a series of large-scale projects such as Thu Thiem Bridge, the new Dong Nai Bridge, Hoa An Bridge, An Hao Bridge, the Ho Chi Minh Highway section from La Son to Tuy Loan, Long Thanh International Airport, Tan Son Nhat Terminal 3, and many North-South expressways…
Notably, in early September, CC1 was selected as the contractor for component project 3, the investment and construction of the expressway under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) method, part of the Ring Road 4 Project – Hanoi Capital Region. The project, with a total investment of over 56,000 billion VND, demonstrates CC1's capacity to construct large-scale infrastructure, utilize modern technology, and possess professional project management capabilities that meet international standards.
Previously, CC1 was also honored by Vietnam Report as the Top 1 reputable infrastructure and industrial construction contractor in 2025, recognizing its persistent efforts in establishing a reputable Vietnamese brand, leading in the field of national infrastructure construction and investment.
