Onecons Construction Consulting Company Limited has just announced the results of contractor selection for Package XL4 Construction of Ring Road 3 section through Thu Duc City (from Km20+550 to Km23+550) of Construction Component Project 1 Construction of Ring Road 3 section through Ho Chi Minh City (including Canal Thay Thuy Bridge) under the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 Construction Investment Project with a total investment of 22,411.38 billion VND is a Joint Venture including CC1 and 05 members other contractors.
Specifically, the winning consortium includes Construction Corporation No. 1 - Joint Stock Company (CC1); Deo Ca Group Joint Stock Company; Deo Ca Construction Joint Stock Company; 510 Construction Joint Stock Company; Corporation 319 Ministry of National Defense; Thanh An Corporation. The winning bid price is 1,642.272 billion VND; Contract implementation time is 1,060 days (shortened by 20 days compared to the bidding schedule).
Ring Road 3 is a project connecting 5 radial expressways, including: Ho Chi Minh City - Trung Luong, Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay, Ben Luc - Long Thanh, Ho Chi Minh City - Moc Bai and Ho Chi Minh City – Chon Thanh, creating links for the whole region.
Belt 3 passes through the provinces: Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Dong Nai, Long An. Phase 1 of the project is about 76.34 km long, with 4 expressway lanes and parallel roads. The project is divided into 8 component projects, each locality carries out two projects, including site clearance and construction. Particularly, component project 1 of building ring road 3 through Ho Chi Minh City has a total cost of about 22,500 billion VND with 42 bidding packages including many fields.
When completed, the route will also open up new space, form industrial corridors, connect many seaport clusters, reduce travel time and logistics costs. This will create a great competitive advantage for the region, creating new economic and social momentum in the entire southern key economic region.
On December 29, the Construction Investment Project Management Board of Ho Chi Minh City traffic works organized a launching ceremony to speed up the construction progress of key traffic works. Ho Chi Minh City has set specific progress and goals for each project in 2024. In particular, Package XL4 Construction of Ring Road 3 section through Thu Duc City (from Km20 + 550 to Km23 + 550) of Component project 1, completing procedures to prepare for construction of 6 construction and installation packages phase 2; Official construction from February 2024 to synchronize with 4 construction and installation packages in phase 1. Besides, basically solving the need for foundation sand for 10 construction and installation packages, completing weak soil treatment work. highway sections, structures under bridges on the main route.
Currently, CC1 and other Joint Venture contractors are participating in 4 component projects under the Eastern North - South Expressway Construction Project for the period 2021 - 2025 including: Component Expressway Project in Can section Tho - Hau Giang package XL01 with package value of 7,966 billion VND; Component expressway project of Hau Giang - Ca Mau section XL03 package with package value of 3,334 billion VND; Quy Nhon - Chi Thanh section expressway project package 11-XL with package value of 3,690 billion VND; Chi Thanh - Van Phong section expressway project package XL02 with package value of 4,440 billion VND.
In July 2023, CC1 continues to participate in component project 3 of the Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot Expressway Construction Investment Project, phase 1 worth VND 1,467 billion. In August 2023, CC1 also officially participated in a consortium of 4 contractors participating in the construction of Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway (phase 1) worth VND 1,411 billion. Most recently, in October 2023, CC1 was honored to be the leading contractor for the Construction Consortium of the Dai Ngai Bridge Construction Investment Project on Highway 60 in the provinces of Tra Vinh and Soc Trang. This is a special level road traffic project with a total project investment of 7,962.148 billion VND.
