CC1 LAUNCHES PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCY FRAMEWORK: A STRATEGIC STEP FORWARD IN HUMAN RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT


On March 20, 2025, at the auditorium on the 12th floor of Sailing Tower, Construction Corporation No. 1 – JSC (CC1), in collaboration with Job Test Co., Ltd. (Job Test), organized the Professional Competency Framework Launch Program. This event not only marked the beginning of a scientific and effective human resource management system but also served as a significant milestone in the strategy for developing human resources in a professional, systematic, and modern direction.

The ceremony was attended by the leadership of both sides, including Mr. Phan Huu Duy Quoc – Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Le Bao Anh – General Director, Ms. Nguyen Thi Bao Tran – Director of Human Resources Management, along with representatives from CC1 departments and Job Test representatives including Mr. Nguyen Cong Thuy – Project Manager, Mr. Colln Blackwell – Senior Advisor, Mr. Kevin Lee – Senior Advisor, and project members.

In his opening remarks, Mr. Le Bao Anh emphasized the importance of the Professional Competency Framework in building a high-quality workforce, ensuring the sustainable development of the enterprise, and expressed his hope that this system would help CC1 create a fair, objective, and effective evaluation process.

Following this, Ms. Nguyen Thi Bao Tran shared the roadmap for implementing the Professional Competency Framework, affirming that it will be an important tool to support the screening, recruitment, and development of successor teams, human resource planning, and improvement of work efficiency at CC1.

Mr. Nguyen Cong Thuy – Head of the Job Test Project Team – also presented the principles and methods for building the Professional Competency Framework, and affirmed that Job Test will accompany CC1 throughout the implementation process to ensure the highest level of practicality and effectiveness.

Mr. Nguyen Cong Thuy shared that Job Test will accompany CC1 in innovating and enhancing the capabilities of its workforce, aiming for professional standards in the construction industry.

The program also noted the active participation of staff members who asked many questions about the application and implementation of the Professional Competency Framework within the company, demonstrating their proactive spirit and concern for the company's human resource development direction.

Beyond simply building a competency assessment system, at the end of the event, Mr. Phan Huu Duy Quoc also emphasized the role of digital transformation and AI applications in human resource management, highlighting the importance of quantitative personnel evaluation to ensure fairness and transparency, thereby establishing a clear and appropriate individual development path aligned with CC1's strategic direction.

The implementation of the Professional Competency Framework is one of CC1's important steps in its journey to modernize and professionalize its human resources system, helping the company optimize management processes and develop its workforce, aiming to become a leading investment and construction group in Vietnam, while affirming its commitment to human development – the core element that creates sustainable success for the business.
