On March 21, 2025, at the Soc Trang Provincial Cultural and Conference Center, Construction Corporation No. 1 – JSC (CC1) donated 2 billion VND to the "For the Poor" Fund to implement the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in Soc Trang province. This is not only an activity demonstrating CC1's social responsibility but also a joint effort to bring sturdy homes and improve the lives of disadvantaged people in the province.

Representing CC1, Mr. Le Bao Anh – General Director – attended the ceremony along with leaders of Soc Trang province, including: Mr. Lam Van Man – Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Ms. Ho Thi Cam Dao – Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council; Mr. Tran Van Lau – Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; and other members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, leaders of localities, and representatives of businesses and units supporting the program.

CC1 presents a symbolic check representing a donation of 2 billion VND to the "Fund for the Poor" of Soc Trang province.

Besides actively participating in charitable activities that bring practical value and improve the quality of life for the people, CC1 also directly implements key transportation infrastructure projects in Soc Trang, specifically Component 4 of the Chau Doc – Can Tho – Soc Trang Expressway Construction Investment Project, Phase 1. This project has a total length of 58.37 km, with an investment of approximately 11,961 billion VND, playing a crucial role in completing the transportation network, connecting economic centers, new urban areas, and important transportation hubs in the Southwest region.

Alongside the expressway project, CC1 is also undertaking the construction of the Dai Ngai 2 Bridge on National Highway 60 – a special-grade road transport project with a total investment of nearly 8,000 billion VND. This is a vital transportation route connecting Tra Vinh and Soc Trang, shortening travel time from Ho Chi Minh City to the Southwestern provinces by approximately 80km, significantly contributing to improving transportation capacity and ensuring national defense and security in the region. Upon completion, this project will help reduce traffic pressure on National Highway 1A and promote socio-economic development in the Mekong Delta.

The leaders of Soc Trang province presented certificates of commendation to units that actively participated in supporting the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the province.

CC1's partnership with the "For the Poor" program in Soc Trang demonstrates a strong commitment to social welfare, not only contributing to improving people's living conditions but also affirming its responsibility, dedication, and long-term commitment to the locality where the company is implementing key national projects.

Aiming for sustainable development, CC1 will continue to carry out community-oriented activities, spread humanitarian values, and make practical contributions to infrastructure development. At the same time, as the contractor for key projects in Soc Trang, CC1 constantly strives to accelerate progress, improve project quality, contribute to the completion of the transportation system, and promote economic growth in the Mekong Delta region.
