On the evening of April 24, 2025, the Announcement Ceremony for the Top 10 & Top 5 Reputable Companies in the Real Estate - Construction - Building Materials Industry in 2025 took place in Hanoi. The event was organized by Vietnam Report Joint Stock Company in collaboration with Vietnamnet Newspaper.
Construction Corporation No. 1 – JSC (CC1) excellently maintained its leading position in the ranking of “Top 10 Reputable Infrastructure and Industrial Construction Contractors in 2025”. This is also the second consecutive year that the company has held the top 10 position among the leading reputable infrastructure and industrial construction contractors in Vietnam. Particularly this year, according to the results of in-depth surveys from experts, businesses, and partners, CC1 received the highest level of trust from the evaluation forms, demonstrating its prestige and leading role in the construction industry.
Entering a new phase of development, CC1 has defined its 2025 strategy with three key pillars: Optimizing the supply chain from construction and materials to infrastructure investment; Leveraging the wave of public investment and PPP projects in the transportation and energy sectors; and Promoting digital transformation and enhancing financial management capabilities.
In just the first four months of 2025, CC1 demonstrated outstanding construction capabilities by continuously accelerating construction progress, bringing many key projects to completion ahead of schedule. In April alone, CC1 participated in the inauguration, completion of bridge sections, and commencement of construction on several key projects to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Southern Vietnam and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 – April 30, 2025). Specifically, on April 19th, the Tan Son Nhat Terminal 3, constructed by CC1, accelerated to completion two months ahead of schedule. On the same day, the Rach Mieu 2 Bridge, also undertaken by CC1, officially completed its construction, approximately four months ahead of schedule. CC1 also recently commenced construction of the Dong Hoi Airport Terminal 2, which will be implemented rapidly within 120 days from the date of site handover.
Earlier this year, CC1 held the bridge completion ceremony for Dai Ngai 2 Bridge on National Highway 60 in Tra Vinh and Soc Trang provinces, 7 months ahead of schedule, with technical opening expected in time for the national holiday. The Tham Luong - Ben Cat - Nuoc Len Canal Renovation Project is nearing completion of the first 3.7km section, with technical opening expected on April 28th. The Can Tho - Ca Mau Expressway project has reached over 681 tons and is expected to be completed and open to traffic before December 31, 2025.
Currently, the company is constructing a pedestrian bridge across the Saigon River – a new iconic landmark of Ho Chi Minh City. This is not only a key project but also a symbol of innovation, signifying both improved infrastructure connectivity and a contribution to enhancing the city's cultural and performing arts spaces.
In the near future, CC1 will continue to strengthen and enhance its general contractor capabilities as it prepares to participate in a series of national mega-projects such as the North-South Expressway Phase 2, the expansion of Tan Son Nhat and Long Thanh airports, urban railway systems in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, high-speed rail, energy projects such as thermal power plants, nuclear power plants, wastewater treatment plants, and waste-to-energy projects…
Alongside project development, CC1 also focuses on developing a highly skilled and experienced workforce, comprising international experts, seasoned engineers, and young professionals proficient in foreign languages and technology. Accordingly, in addition to project management training programs, CC1 sends staff to technologically advanced countries such as Russia and South Korea for specialized training, and invites international experts who have participated in major projects such as the Ho Chi Minh City Metro Line 1 and Line 2, as well as nuclear power engineers trained abroad, to serve as technical consultants.
CC1's leading position in the "Top 10 Reputable Infrastructure and Industrial Construction Contractors of 2025" ranking is a testament to its ability to undertake complex technical projects with high demands on schedule and quality. This award also continues CC1's outstanding achievements throughout its operation, establishing it as a name synonymous with key national projects, contributing to the promotion of tourism, trade, and sustainable development of Ho Chi Minh City in particular and the whole country in general.
