On May 22nd, the 9th Congress of Delegates (2025–2030) of the Ho Chi Minh City Construction and Building Materials Association (SACA) was successfully held, marking a solid transformation for the Association on its journey towards sustainable development.

With the motto "Strong Connections – Shaping the Future," in its 9th term, SACA aims to strengthen the linkages within the business community, promote green transformation, and expand international integration in a comprehensive manner. The gathering of over 500 businesses within the SACA ecosystem, including leading domestic and international brands in the construction and building materials sectors, clearly demonstrates the Association's role in enhancing the industry's value, creating a strong ripple effect for sustainable development and comprehensive innovation in the new era.

Accompanying this event, Construction Corporation No. 1 – JSC (CC1), represented by Mr. Phan Huu Duy Quoc – Chairman of the Board of Directors, was present and clearly demonstrated its commitment to standing alongside the construction industry business community in the effort to create a foundation for sustainable development.

Over 46 years of formation and development, CC1 has affirmed its pioneering position in three core areas: construction, investment, and production & trading of construction materials. Leveraging its track record in a series of key national projects along with a solid financial and technological foundation, CC1 aims to expand its construction market share, affirm its position as a leading contractor in Vietnam, and gradually expand into the international arena.

Sustainable development has always been a central focus in CC1's long-term strategy, clearly demonstrated through its operational efficiency, construction capabilities, and strong commitment to environmental protection and social responsibility. With the view that each project is not only a product of technology, engineering, and creativity, but also contributes to the protection and preservation of natural resources, CC1 proactively applies green solutions and advanced construction technologies to optimize efficiency while minimizing environmental impact.

Rapid development coupled with sustainable development has always been the guiding principle in every step CC1 takes in the construction market.

Besides its traditional strength in construction, CC1 is also a manufacturer and supplier of industrial products and building materials with main product lines such as: steel structures for construction, precast reinforced concrete power poles, precast reinforced concrete piles, concrete sleepers, ready-mixed concrete, various types of construction stone, and limestone for cement production. Developing these areas helps CC1 proactively secure input materials for the construction industry value chain while increasing operational efficiency and competitiveness.

Notably, VINA Precast Concrete Co., Ltd. – PSMC, a subsidiary of CC1, is the supplier of sleepers for Ho Chi Minh City's first metro line. Recently, the company further solidified its position by signing a contract to export prestressed concrete piles to Bangladesh – a significant milestone affirming its production capacity, expanding its international market share, and firmly consolidating the core business of the CC1 ecosystem.

In the context of the construction industry facing increasingly high demands for quality, technology, and sustainable development, CC1 has been implementing a strategy of investing in advanced construction technology, improving project management efficiency, and optimizing the construction material supply chain to proactively ensure quality and progress.

CC1 is involved in the construction of Long Thanh International Airport.
The Phu Tho Circus and Multipurpose Performance Hall project, in which CC1 is involved in construction, is expected to become one of the city's new exemplary cultural institutions, reaching international standards.

Partnering with SACA not only demonstrates CC1's commitment to promoting cooperation, networking, and development within the construction industry, but also serves as proof of the company's consistent direction: steadfastly pursuing a sustainable development strategy, expanding its diversified ecosystem, and gradually realizing its goal of becoming a leading investment and construction group in Vietnam and a professional international contractor.
