On September 16, 2025, at the auditorium on the 12th floor of the headquarters of Construction Corporation No. 1 – JSC (CC1), a signing ceremony for a Memorandum of Understanding on Strategic Cooperation took place between CC1 and Portcoast Engineering and Consulting Joint Stock Company. The event affirms the company's pioneering position in technology application, while also keeping pace with the spirit of innovation in accordance with Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in the development of science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation.
Representing CC1, the ceremony welcomed the attendance of Mr. Le Bao Anh – General Director, along with senior managers from the Company’s departments.
On the side of Portcoast, the event was honored to host Mr. Pham Anh Tuan – Standing Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Director, and Mr. Tran Phuc Minh Quang – Deputy General Director and Director of the AI Center.

According to the signed MOU, CC1 and Portcoast will jointly research, develop, and apply advanced technology solutions, focusing on digital construction fields: Scan-to-BIM, BIM – GIS – AIM – Digital Twin, and Smart City.
Through this collaboration, both parties aim to enhance project management and implementation efficiency, optimize resources, and strengthen competitiveness in infrastructure, civil, industrial, energy, as well as specialized projects with high technical demands. This is the convergence of CC1’s nearly 50 years of proven expertise in delivering national key projects and Portcoast’s pioneering capabilities in digitalization.
Importantly, CC1 and Portcoast commit to accompanying each other in exploring new opportunities, sharing information, and developing flexible coordination mechanisms. This partnership will expand CC1’s competitive capacity in large-scale infrastructure projects, aligned with its sustainable development orientation and digital transformation strategy.

Breaking the stereotype that “construction is a slow-moving industry in digital transformation,” CC1 – as one of Vietnam’s leading general contractors – has long invested in advanced technological solutions, alongside modern machinery and equipment. Notably, the implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) in major projects has optimized schedule management, ensured strict cost control, and guaranteed the highest construction quality.
Besides BIM, CC1 also utilizes Plaxis (Bentley) geotechnical software solutions to provide accurate analysis, thereby developing safe and efficient construction plans. The company also applies AI automation through the Microsoft ecosystem platform in data processing, supporting departments in making faster and more accurate decisions. Simultaneously, project management using the ODOO ERP system helps CC1 proactively forecast risks, allocate resources rationally, and improve overall management efficiency.
From pioneering the application of technologies such as BIM, ERP ODOO, and AI in its projects to the recent strategic partnership with Portcoast, all these efforts reflect CC1’s strong determination to accelerate digital transformation, strengthen technical and managerial capacity, and boost project implementation efficiency.
