On September 27th, Mr. Phan Huu Duy Quoc, Chairman of the Board of Directors of CC1, and Mr. Le Thanh Liem, Senior Expert of CC1, attended an online scientific conference on the topic "Elevated bridge solutions for urban railways and high-speed railways," jointly organized by Construction Magazine - Ministry of Construction.

This workshop, chaired by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of CC1 – Mr. Phan Huu Duy Quoc, focused on elevated bridge solutions – a key component accounting for a large proportion of the total length of the route, directly impacting operational speed, safety, maintenance costs, and harmony with the urban landscape.
With the participation of many leading experts and top domestic and international businesses, the workshop provided a multifaceted perspective, ranging from structural loads, modern construction technologies, carbon-saving design solutions to advanced international experience, creating an important foundation for selecting optimal options for Vietnam's high-speed rail project.
At the workshop, Senior Expert CC1 – Mr. Le Thanh Liem emphasized the key differences between Metro and High-Speed Rail (HSR) in terms of load capacity, operating frequency, and viaduct design requirements. Metro operates frequently with low load capacity but causes continuous fatigue stress; HSR has high load capacity and high speed, requiring long span structures and superior rigidity to ensure safety and sustainability. Therefore, the speaker stressed the need to develop separate design standards for each type, tailored to Vietnamese conditions.

Currently, CC1 is leading the Viaduct Solutions Research Group, with the participation of 10 domestic and international enterprises, aiming to develop flexible solutions that adapt to all terrains, geological conditions, and actual construction circumstances. This initiative not only brings practical value to transportation infrastructure projects but also demonstrates CC1's strategic vision and dedication to the sustainable development of the country, while inspiring cooperation and innovation throughout the construction industry.
CC1 is accelerating its digital transformation with a series of advanced technological solutions in both management and construction, gradually creating a synchronized digital ecosystem that closely connects the entire value chain of the Corporation.
At the end of August, CC1, in collaboration with Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, launched the intensive training program "High-Speed Rail - Urban Railway," marking a strategic step in the journey to elevate the skills of Vietnamese engineers. The program not only equips them with advanced knowledge and helps them master modern construction technologies, but also promotes digital transformation, increases self-reliance in the supply chain, optimizes costs, and builds a sustainable production ecosystem. This forms the foundation for CC1 to be ready to undertake urban rail and high-speed rail projects, affirming its position as a professional international contractor.
In line with the spirit of innovation from Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo, CC1 continuously improves its technological and construction capabilities, pioneering in national-scale infrastructure projects such as urban railways and high-speed railways, and is ready to meet the most stringent standards for quality, progress, and safety.
