On October 1st, 2025, the 46th anniversary celebration of Construction Corporation No. 1 – JSC (CC1) took place in a solemn, warm, and emotional atmosphere. The event was also an opportunity to look back on nearly half a century of development, affirming CC1's position and achievements through thousands of projects across the country, while paying tribute to previous generations and inspiring aspirations for new heights and successes.
The event was attended by former CC1 leaders from various periods, current leaders, heads of departments/divisions/sections, and leaders of subsidiaries and member companies… This comprehensive gathering created a cohesive atmosphere and affirmed the special significance of the anniversary celebration.
Opening the program, Mr. Le Bao Anh – General Director of CC1 – delivered the opening speech, sharing his feelings and development direction for the new phase: “For the past 46 years, CC1 has accompanied the country through many historical turning points, leaving its mark with key projects of lasting value. Today's achievements are thanks to the contributions of countless generations of leaders and staff who have tirelessly dedicated themselves.”
On this occasion, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the predecessors who laid the solid foundation and built the tradition that has allowed CC1 to achieve its current position. This legacy will always be a valuable asset, empowering present and future generations.
Entering a new phase, we will continue to uphold our traditions, innovate, and enhance our construction and management capabilities so that CC1 will not only be a leading investment and construction group in Vietnam, but also become a professional international contractor.”

Continuing the program, previous generations of leaders expressed their emotion at witnessing CC1's remarkable progress after nearly half a century. Representing the former CC1 leadership, Mr. Nguyen Thiem – former Chairman of the Board of Directors – emphasized that today's success is the result of inheritance and persistent efforts over many generations, and expressed his belief that the young CC1 team will continue to uphold the tradition to lead the Corporation to new heights.
Mr. Nguyen Thiem, representing the previous generation of leaders, delivered a congratulatory speech and expressed his expectations for the younger generation of CC1.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Truong Quy Ky – former Chairman of the Board of Directors of CC1 – moved the entire audience when he recalled the glorious milestones in CC1's construction of projects such as: Tri An Hydroelectric Power Plant, Diamond Plaza, Rex Hotels, and many other large projects that contributed to changing the urban landscape of Ho Chi Minh City, along with thousands of construction achievements across the country, proving the capabilities and extensive experience of a pioneering contractor.
These stories of memories not only evoke pride but also provide immense spiritual strength and motivation for today's generation to continue the development and traditions of CC1.

In particular, on this occasion, CC1 donated 50 million VND to the CC1 Retired Employees' Liaison Committee to contribute to improving the quality of activities that foster camaraderie and care for the spiritual well-being of retired employees. This action demonstrates the spirit of "remembering the source when drinking water," showing gratitude to the previous generation and continuing the strong tradition of camaraderie within the CC1 family.
Also part of the ceremony was the announcement of the results of the short video creation contest "CC1's Mark in My Heart". The best entry was screened, evoking feelings of pride and helping each member to further connect with and cherish their shared home, CC1. The organizers also awarded prizes to the winning individuals and teams, recognizing the efforts, talent, creativity, and enthusiasm of CC1 employees.

Over nearly half a century of development, CC1 has created iconic projects that have significantly impacted the country's transformation. From the Tri An Hydroelectric Power Plant, a landmark project that solved the "electricity shortage" problem after national reunification, to the Thu Thiem Bridge, the first bridge built across the Saigon River after 1975, marking a turning point in Ho Chi Minh City's urban development.
CC1 has also demonstrated its outstanding capabilities through a series of key national projects such as: the new Dong Nai Bridge, Hoa An Bridge, An Hao Bridge, Ho Chi Minh City Children's Hospital, Long Son Petrochemical Refinery, Tien Giang Provincial General Hospital, Tan Son Nhat Terminal T3, Metro Line 1 (Ben Thanh - Suoi Tien), Long Thanh International Airport, Quang Trach 1 Thermal Power Plant, Na Duong II Thermal Power Plant, North-South Expressway, etc.
