CC1 collaborated in organizing the launch ceremony for the BIM 2025 Handbook.

Recently, the launch ceremony for the BIM 2025 Handbook was held at the headquarters of Construction Corporation No. 1 (CC1), with the participation of management agencies, experts, business leaders, and leading universities in the construction field. This is a significant milestone, contributing to the acceleration of Vietnam's construction industry's digital transformation roadmap, especially the standardization and expansion of BIM (Building Information Modeling) technology applications.

The event was attended by representatives from CC1, Construction Magazine (the official publication of the Ministry of Construction), Ho Chi Minh City University of Architecture, and many large construction companies nationwide.

The event brings together leading regulatory bodies, experts, business leaders, and universities in the construction sector.

The BIM 2025 Handbook is the result of a collaboration between CC1, Construction Magazine, and businesses and experts in the construction industry. With its rich theoretical and practical framework, the book is expected to become an important reference document for the construction community.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Phan Huu Duy Quoc – Chairman of the Board of Directors of CC1 emphasized: “The BIM 2025 Handbook is clear evidence of the synergy between three pillars: Government agencies – Businesses – Universities. CC1 believes that this connection will create strong momentum to make BIM a foundation for sustainable development, helping the Vietnamese construction industry integrate internationally and reach new heights.”

Mr. Phan Huu Duy Quoc – Chairman of the Board of Directors of CC1 – emphasized CC1's pioneering role in promoting BIM application and digital transformation in the construction industry.

Mr. Phan Huu Duy Quoc affirmed that BIM is not only a project management tool but also a platform connecting stakeholders, helping to optimize processes, improve quality, progress, and efficiency of national-scale infrastructure projects.

In particular, as a member of the Editorial Board of the BIM 2025 Handbook, Mr. Phan Huu Duy Quoc directly participated in guiding the content and contributing expertise throughout the compilation process. Also contributing to the publication, Mr. Duong Xuan Sang – Head of Engineering & BIM Department of CC1, as a senior expert, contributed the article “Building Information Modeling for Airport Projects”. This article provides a practical perspective on the implementation of BIM in large-scale aviation infrastructure projects such as Long Thanh Airport and Tan Son Nhat Terminal 3, thereby clearly demonstrating CC1's expertise and pioneering role in applying technology to modern construction practices.

Also in the program, Mr. Nguyen Thai Binh – Editor-in-Chief of Construction Magazine – stated: “BIM has become an inevitable trend, helping to change traditional construction design and management methods, opening up a new, more transparent and efficient management approach. The BIM 2025 Handbook is a synthesis of theory and practice, expected to become a useful document for businesses and training institutions, helping the Vietnamese construction industry anticipate trends and integrate quickly with the world.”

Mr. Nguyen Thai Binh, Editor-in-Chief of Construction Magazine, affirmed that BIM has become an inevitable trend, bringing about a modern, clear, and highly efficient management model.

Furthermore, the presence of Associate Professor Pham Trong Thuat – Rector of Ho Chi Minh City University of Architecture – further affirmed the solemn significance of the event. He highly appreciated CC1's role in creating a practical bridge between businesses and academia, helping lecturers and students access new technologies linked to practice, a crucial element in training human resources to meet the digital demands of the new era.

Associate Professor Pham Trong Thuat – Rector of Ho Chi Minh City University of Architecture – highly appreciated the role of CC1 in connecting businesses and schools.

As one of the pioneering construction companies in Vietnam, CC1 has been quick to apply BIM in many key projects. The company focuses on building a skilled workforce, investing in modern equipment and software, and standardizing project management processes. Practical experience shows that applying BIM not only improves design and construction efficiency but also helps manage operation and maintenance of projects transparently and optimizes long-term costs.

In the next presentation, Mr. Phan Huu Duy Quoc spoke about CC1's practical experience in applying BIM, from implementation in key infrastructure projects to research and development directions aimed at improving technical and management capabilities. He emphasized the advantages of BIM in risk forecasting, schedule control, cost optimization, and improving construction quality.

Representatives from various businesses also agreed that the initial implementation cost of BIM is a significant investment, but the long-term benefits are extremely clear. When operational processes run smoothly, businesses can save costs, minimize errors, and increase competitiveness, aligning with CC1's unwavering commitment.

Participating units shared practical experiences in applying BIM.

Through pioneering steps in applying new technologies such as BIM, CC1 not only affirms its role as a leading enterprise in the construction industry but also demonstrates a spirit of innovation, adaptability, and trend-setting. This event not only marks a significant step forward in the application of BIM in Vietnam but also affirms CC1's pioneering role in connecting and leading the innovation process across the entire construction industry.

The launch ceremony of the BIM 2025 Handbook clearly demonstrated CC1's commitment to proactively adapting to the times and contributing to the sustainable development of Vietnam's construction industry. The discussions among business leaders, international experts, and domestic scholars painted a comprehensive picture, showing that BIM is not just a technical tool, but also a solid digital foundation for the future of the construction industry.

Representatives of the authors and sponsors received flowers and books from the Organizing Committee.

With 46 years of experience in constructing thousands of key projects, CC1 is ready to embrace the era of digital infrastructure, contributing to the integration and internationalization of Vietnam's construction industry. The spirit of rapid movement, innovation, and a desire to lead is the guiding principle behind CC1's continuous research and application of advanced technologies such as BIM and GIS, along with modern management solutions in its business operations.

This is the crucial foundation that helps CC1 optimize progress, quality, and costs, while simultaneously building a sustainable competitive advantage. Through this, the company affirms its position as a leading Investment and Construction Group in Vietnam and a professional international contractor, creating large-scale infrastructure projects.

Last September, the digital transformation initiative proposed by Mr. Phan Huu Duy Quoc – Chairman of the Board of Directors of CC1 – at a conference organized by the Ministry of Construction was highly appreciated and recognized. This is proof of CC1's strategic vision: not only pioneering in the research and application of technologies such as BIM, but also proactively leading the digital transformation process of the construction industry, accompanying the sustainable development of the country in the era of national progress.
