On October 16, 2025, in Ho Chi Minh City, Construction Corporation No. 1 – JSC (CC1) and the University of Architecture Ho Chi Minh City (UAH) officially signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement. This collaboration reflects the goal of investing in development and attracting high-quality human resources for the enterprise.
The agreement was signed between CC1 and UAH at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Architecture, with the aim of strengthening exchange and cooperation between the two sides in human resource training, scientific research, and technology transfer, towards sustainable development and mutual benefit for both units.

According to the agreement, CC1 and UAH agree to cooperate in good faith, efficiency, and mutual development, based on each party's capabilities, strengths, and strategic direction. CC1, with 46 years of formation and development, is a company with a history under the Ministry of Construction, consistently maintaining its leading position in the construction sector; meanwhile, the Ho Chi Minh City University of Architecture, also under the Ministry of Construction, is a prestigious training environment for many generations of Vietnamese architects and construction engineers. The combination of these two leading institutions promises to create a solid foundation, contributing to the formation of a high-quality and sustainable workforce for the future of the construction industry.
At the signing ceremony, CC1 and UAH agreed to implement a comprehensive cooperation program with many practical contents. Accordingly, CC1 will cooperate with the University in human resource training, building and organizing programs to enhance the project execution capacity of CC1 engineers. The programs are designed flexibly, including short-term courses to supplement and update professional knowledge and long-term courses aimed at obtaining engineering certifications and degrees, meeting the increasingly high demands of practice.
In addition, the two sides will jointly promote scientific research and technology transfer, focusing on innovative topics and activities that align with each side's capabilities, strengths, and development orientation.
In particular, CC1 is interested in supporting UAH students through coordinating the organization of thematic workshops, scholarship programs, internships, site visits, and expanding employment opportunities for graduates.
This morning's business-school networking conference serves as a bridge to create strong relationships between the practical work environment and education, providing a space for exchange, updating on new trends, and aiming to train the next generation of core engineers.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Phan Huu Duy Quoc – Chairman of the Board of Directors of CC1, emphasized: “CC1 has strengths in three areas: civil construction, transportation infrastructure, and industrial construction, with a series of projects spanning the North and South. This comprehensive cooperation agreement is an important first step, demonstrating CC1's commitment to partnering with reputable training institutions, bridging the gap between theory and practice, and contributing to building a generation of dynamic and creative young engineers who will continue and develop the Vietnamese construction industry in general.”

Recently, CC1 has collaborated with Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology to implement an intensive training program on high-speed rail and urban rail, aiming to equip Vietnamese engineers with practical knowledge and up-to-date advanced technology. This program is a concrete step in the cooperative relationship between the enterprise and the university, contributing to the integration of training, research, and application, and contributing to the sustainable development of the national construction and transportation infrastructure industry.
CC1 will continue to expand its cooperation with many specialized universities in the future, becoming a reliable environment for training and developing high-quality human resources. The company proactively builds a team of skilled and professional engineers, ready to undertake key national projects with high technical and management requirements. At the same time, CC1 is constantly innovating and integrating, gradually affirming its role as a Vietnamese contractor reaching international standards in the new era of construction industry development.
