On October 20th, Construction Corporation No. 1 – JSC (CC1) organized a program to celebrate Vietnamese Women's Day with the theme "The Radiance of Femininity" – a meaningful activity aimed at expressing gratitude and honoring the persistent, subtle yet strong contributions of the female employees of CC1 throughout the company's nearly half-century of development.
Opening the program, Mr. Le Bao Anh – General Director of CC1 – extended warm and sincere congratulations to all the women, acknowledging the indispensable role of CC1 women in all areas of operation, from construction sites to offices, from project management to facility operation. Each CC1 woman is a radiant "flower," contributing to the strength and unique identity of the CC1 family.
He emphasized that the CC1 family is diverse, with the women being the ones who bring a gentle and harmonious touch, contributing to the company's success today.
“With the dedication of all the women sitting here, I believe the company will not only grow stronger but also become a big family with shared values, making every workday a joyful one at CC1. I cherish and highly appreciate the spirit of dedication, managing household responsibilities, and fulfilling company and social duties of all the women. On the occasion of the October 20th holiday, I wish all the women to be as beautiful as flowers, as strong as steel, and as intelligent as AI,” Mr. Le Bao Anh expressed.
Following the program, Ms. Phan Thi Phuong Dung – Director of Human Resources Management – delivered a moving speech, expressing her deep gratitude on behalf of all the women of CC1 to the General Corporation's leadership, especially General Director Le Bao Anh, for their affection and concern for the female staff and employees.
She shared: “If the construction industry is a symbol of strength, of steel and concrete, then the women of CC1 are the soft colors that make that picture warmer, more balanced, and more humane. From the women wearing reflective vests in the sun and wind of the construction site, to the diligent colleagues working on drawings, plans, and documents, or the women meticulously handling logistics – all together they create a resilient, cohesive, and vibrant CC1 team.”
According to Ms. Phan Thi Phuong Dung, "femininity" is a soft yet enduring value, the energy that helps CC1 maintain harmony and humanity in a work environment that demands high technical skills and immense pressure. Alongside these efforts, the General Corporation's leadership always cares for its female employees through welfare policies, a flexible work environment, and career development opportunities, helping women confidently assert themselves and balance work and family life.
Amidst the warm atmosphere, Ms. Dang Thi Ngoc Anh – President of the CC1 Agency Trade Union, expressed her gratitude for the thoughtful attention shown by the leadership and male staff of CC1 towards all the female employees of the Corporation. This action also continues the tradition of always caring for the spiritual well-being and valuing the contributions of female employees at CC1 over the years.
The atmosphere of the ceremony became more lively when representatives of the Management Board and male colleagues presented beautiful flowers and congratulatory cards to all the female employees as a token of gratitude and appreciation for the "radiant half" of the CC1 family.
The theme "Radiant Femininity" is not just a greeting, but also a message about the inner strength, pride, and dedication of CC1 women – those who always spread positive energy and contribute to creating a friendly and inspiring work environment.
The ceremony became even more lively and emotional when the Project Management Board, along with male engineers and workers from the construction sites, sent heartfelt videos, wishes, and poems dedicated to the women of CC1.
Over 46 years of formation and development, the image of women in the construction industry in general, and CC1 women in particular, has always left a strong mark through their persistent contributions and proud achievements. With a harmonious combination of the gentle and refined qualities of femininity and the inherent strength and resilience of those working in the construction industry, these women have been and continue to be the "solid bricks" contributing to CC1's success, from industrial and civil construction projects to key national transportation and engineering infrastructure.
The ceremony concluded in a joyful and emotional atmosphere, filled with memorable moments that marked a truly special October 20th.
