CC1 accompanies the "Building Schools for Children" program in the mountainous region of Lai Chau.

On May 8, 2026, the La U Co kindergarten in Thu Lum commune, Lai Chau province, was officially inaugurated and put into use as part of the "Building Schools for Children" program implemented by the Future Journey Foundation, with the support of Construction Corporation No. 1 - JSC (CC1) and many sponsoring units.

The ceremony was attended by Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Long – Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Deputy Minister of Public Security; Comrade Le Minh Ngan – Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council of Lai Chau; Comrade Ha Quang Trung – Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee of Lai Chau, along with representatives from units of the Ministry of Public Security, Border Guard, philanthropists, sponsors and people of Thu Lum commune.

The inauguration ceremony of La U Co Kindergarten in Thu Lum commune, Lai Chau province took place on the morning of May 8, 2026.

The La U Co school branch is located in a disadvantaged border area of Lai Chau province. Previously, the school branch was temporarily constructed in 2018 using rudimentary prefabricated structures. After many years of use, the facilities have seriously deteriorated and no longer meet the learning and living needs of local teachers and students.

The project to build a kindergarten in the mountainous region of Lai Chau is part of the "Build Schools for Children" program.

The project, implemented in coordination with the Lai Chau Provincial Border Guard Command, the Lai Chau Provincial Police, and the Future Journey Fund, has a total investment of over 5.1 billion VND. The facility includes two sturdy classrooms, a kitchen, a teacher's staff room, a playground, a fence system, and various equipment for learning and daily life. In addition, the project also includes supporting items at the central school site such as building a playground canopy, renovating the kitchen, and paving the connecting road to the village with concrete.

CC1 undertook the steel structure and roofing work for the Là Ú Cò kindergarten project, with a total sponsorship value exceeding 1.8 billion VND. This direct contribution to construction projects further demonstrates the company's expertise and commitment to supporting community development programs.

Construction began on October 23, 2025, and is scheduled for completion in early 2026. During the implementation process, the police and border guard forces contributed nearly 3,000 man-days of labor to transport materials and support construction amidst challenging mountainous terrain.

The completion and commissioning of the school not only provides a safer and more spacious learning environment for children in the mountainous border region but also demonstrates the spirit of community collaboration among social organizations, functional forces, and businesses.

With over 46 years of development, in addition to its strength in conquering a series of key transportation, industrial, and energy projects nationwide, CC1 also focuses on supporting education, human development, and partnering with communities in many localities.

Specifically, CC1 participates in numerous CSR activities demonstrating social responsibility, such as supporting the Fund for the Poor in the Western provinces; joining hands to support people in flood-stricken areas of Central Vietnam; and contributing to the construction of numerous bridge, road, and housing projects for disadvantaged households in the Northern provinces… This parallel partnership over many years has demonstrated CC1's enduring commitment to creating positive value for society.
