The Phu Tho Circus and Multipurpose Performance Hall project, in which CC1 participated in construction, will officially be inaugurated on August 19th. Prior to this, at the ceremony honoring 50 outstanding projects in Ho Chi Minh City on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Southern Vietnam, the project was recognized, affirming CC1's mark on a key cultural project and doubling the pride of the Corporation in its nearly half-century journey of "quietly transforming the landscape of the nation."

Located on Lu Gia Street (Phu Tho Ward), the project boasts a modern design, serving as a center for performing various art forms, as well as a training facility, conference and exhibition space, and cultural and artistic exchange activities, befitting its status as one of Ho Chi Minh City's exemplary cultural institutions in the new era.

With over 46 years of formation and development, CC1 has left a strong mark on a series of key national projects such as Tan Son Nhat T3 terminal, Long Thanh International Airport, the North-South expressways, Metro Line 1 (Ben Thanh - Suoi Tien), Na Duong II Thermal Power Plant, Quang Trach 1 Thermal Power Plant, Thu Thiem Bridge, Tien Giang Provincial General Hospital, Long Son Petrochemical Refinery, and the upgrade project of National Highway 5 in Cambodia… In particular, with experience in constructing large-scale infrastructure projects requiring complex techniques and absolute precision, CC1 affirms its position as a leading contractor trusted by investors for key projects in the new phase.
Regarding the Phu Tho Circus and Multipurpose Performance Hall, Mr. Phan Huu Duy Quoc, Chairman of the Board of Directors of CC1, shared: “The project was constructed with exceptionally high technical requirements; the entire structure is cast in place with concrete, not brickwork. The long-span floor uses a composite concrete-steel structure with a large span of up to 54 meters and a floor-to-ceiling width of 24 meters. The building is also equipped with a modern performance technology system, meeting the standards for organizing the largest and most complex shows currently available.”

The auditorium comprises a movable circular stage and a rectangular stage connected to the circular stage, creating a multi-purpose stage. CC1 applies advanced technical solutions for the multi-purpose stage, integrating a spiral lifting system that can be flexibly adapted for various types of performances both on land and underwater.

In addition to the circus and multi-purpose performance area, the project also includes an administrative-service-restaurant block, animal training facilities, animal enclosures, landscaping with trees and water features, and a comprehensive technical system.

On August 19th, the Phu Tho Circus and Multipurpose Performance Hall will officially be inaugurated, celebrating the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the First Congress of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, term 2025-2030. The project promises to become a world-class cultural and entertainment space, serving both city residents and international tourists.

Also on August 19th, the Rach Mieu 2 Bridge, constructed in collaboration with CC1, will officially be put into operation, 5 months ahead of schedule. Prior to that, on August 18th, the Quang Trach I Thermal Power Plant Project was ready for the first oil firing of its first unit… These consecutive milestones in August clearly demonstrate the vibrant energy and breakthrough aspirations of the CC1 team on all fronts in this new phase.
With the goal of creating sustainable projects and making practical contributions to the community, CC1 always prioritizes reputation, quality, progress, and efficiency. The Phu Tho Circus and Multipurpose Performance Hall is therefore expected to become a new cultural symbol of Ho Chi Minh City in particular and the whole country in general. In every project, CC1 not only ensures progress and aesthetics but also strictly adheres to standards of labor safety and environmental protection. This milestone further affirms CC1's position as a leading contractor in Vietnam, gradually expanding into the international market.
