CC1 joins hands to support flood victims and employee families facing difficulties.

Immediately after the historic floods that caused serious damage in Dak Lak province (formerly Phu Yen), a delegation from Construction Corporation No. 1 – JSC (CC1) directly visited the heavily affected areas in Vinh Phu village (Phu Hoa 1 commune), Phuoc Nong village (Tay Hoa commune), Phu Nong neighborhood (Phu Yen ward), Phu An neighborhood (Tuy Hoa ward), and neighborhoods 3 and 4 (Dong Hoa ward) of the province to provide support and share the difficulties with the local people.

The gifts, including cash and rice, were handed directly to the people. This is not only material support but also conveys the spirit of sharing, community responsibility, and the tradition of solidarity that CC1 has always cherished and preserved throughout its development journey.

Residents in the flood-affected area of Phu An neighborhood, Tuy Hoa ward, Dak Lak province receive gifts from CC1.

A volunteer group comprising representatives from the leadership and departments of CC1 traveled directly from Ho Chi Minh City to Phu Yen province (formerly), coordinating with local authorities to distribute 200 gift packages containing rice and 300 million VND in cash, demonstrating the spirit of "mutual support" and sharing the difficulties with nearly 200 households in the flood-affected area.

As a resident present from early morning at the distribution point, Mr. Hoang Huu Thanh, a resident of Phu An neighborhood, Tuy Hoa ward, was deeply moved by the concern he received from the Corporation. Immediately after the flood, all his belongings were swept away by the rising floodwaters. With the money he just received, he plans to repair his waterlogged motorbike so he can use it for work and buy prescriptions for his heart condition, hoping to recover from the historic flood.

Mr. Hoang Huu Thanh was delighted to receive support and attention from the delegation.

Accompanying the delegation from the beginning of the journey, Mr. Nguyen Van Tuan, Director of Construction Operations, also directly spoke with and visited the flood-affected people and presented gifts to residents living near the Chi Thanh – Van Phong and Quy Nhon – Chi Thanh expressways that CC1 is constructing. He emotionally said: “We truly sympathize with the difficulties faced by the people in the flood-stricken areas, as natural disasters leave behind many severe consequences and losses that are not easily compensated. We hope that the people will maintain an optimistic spirit to stabilize their work and return to their normal lives.”

In addition, the delegation also visited and presented gifts to the project management team and team members, and personally visited 43 families and relatives of CC1 workers affected by the historic floods in the three provinces of Dak Lak, Gia Lai, and Khanh Hoa.

Faced with the plight of people who lost their homes, livelihoods, and possessions after the floods, Ms. Phan Thi Phuong Dung, Director of Human Resources Management, could not hide her emotion and shared in the losses of the local people. She visited the affected areas to offer encouragement and expressed her hope that the people and the employees of the Corporation would stay healthy and quickly recover their lives.

About 25km from the center of Tuy Hoa, the delegation made their way down a small village road in Hoa Thinh commune, also a "flood epicenter" heavily affected by the floods, to visit the relatives of Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tung, currently a driver for CC1 at a project in Dak Lak province. He said that his relatives were facing many difficulties as they had to cling to tall trees near their house to escape the raging floodwaters, a place that was extremely difficult for rescue forces to reach.

Representatives of the CC1 Management Board Project Management Board in the province They went directly to Hoa Thinh, the epicenter of the flooding, to visit and encourage the families of CC1 employees.

After being trapped for two days and two nights in the floodwaters, with most of his house collapsing and the roof tiles blown off, rebuilding his life after the flood presented many challenges. He said that the Corporation's concern for his family at this time was an immense source of encouragement. "The timely and dedicated concern of the Leadership Board has given me and my family the motivation to recover after the flood, take care of our immediate lives, and at the same time feel secure in our work," he expressed emotionally.

Representatives of the delegation went into every small alley to visit and share their feelings with the family of Mr. Huynh Minh Tu, who is currently working at the Long Thanh Airport Project Management Board. This unprecedented historical flood caused severe economic damage to his family.

The visit to the flood-stricken area not only provided practical support but also spread profound humanitarian values. With social responsibility as its core value, CC1 always stands alongside the community, works with its employees, and acts for sustainable values.

This activity also demonstrates CC1's vision to become a leading Investment and Construction Group in Vietnam and a professional international contractor, leaving a lasting mark on every project and community activity. At the same time, it reflects CC1's mission to develop well-rounded individuals, enhance social value, and contribute to building a better living environment for everyone.

Throughout its 46-year history, the CC1 Cultural House has increasingly demonstrated the strength of unity, sharing spirit, and strong bonds between CC1 employees and the community, as well as within its own internal team. Timely support for people in disaster-stricken areas and assistance to workers in times of hardship not only affirms CC1's profound sense of social responsibility but also reflects a humane environment where people are always cared for, understood, and where positive values are spread.
