On the morning of January 1, 2023, the Ministry of Transport (MoT) coordinated with localities to simultaneously organize the Groundbreaking Ceremony of 12 component projects of the East North-South Expressway Construction Project in the East phase. 2021 – 2025.
The groundbreaking ceremony was held simultaneously at 12 component projects across 9 provinces through which the project passed in the form of online connection between 12 construction sites. In which, the central bridge point is the starting point of Package XL1, Hoai Nhon - Quang Ngai component project in Mo Duc district, Quang Ngai province with the participation of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh; leaders of the National Assembly; leaders of relevant ministries, branches and localities.
Accordingly, the Representative of Construction Corporation No. 1 - JSC (CC1) was honored to participate in the Groundbreaking Ceremony of the East North-South Expressway Construction Project in the period of 2021 - 2025, the Can Tho section - Hau Giang and the Chi Thanh – Van Phong section.
The component project of Can Tho - Hau Giang section has a length of 37.65km passing through Can Tho and Hau Giang areas. The project has the starting point intersecting with the South Song Hau road, the ending point at Vi Thuy district, Hau Giang. The route will be invested with 4 complete lanes.
This entire project has a single construction and installation contract. The appointed contractor is a joint venture of Truong Son Construction Corporation – 36 Corporation – Construction Corporation No. 1 – JSC (CC1) – VNCN E&C Engineering and Construction Investment Joint Stock Company – Tan Nam Construction Joint Stock Company. The appointment price is more than 7,555 billion VND, the contract execution time is 1,020 days.
In addition, CC1 also participates in the East North-South Expressway Construction Project in the 2021-2025 period, the Chi Thanh - Van Phong section.
Specifically, the Chi Thanh - Van Phong component project has the length of the main route about 47 km and the intersection at the end of the route connecting National Highway 1 about more than 1 km. The project passes through 5 districts, towns and cities of Phu Yen province, including: Tuy An, Tuy Hoa, Phu Hoa, Tay Hoa, and Dong Hoa.
It is known that the package XL02 for the Chi Thanh - Van Phong section has a length of 24.05 km, worth VND 4,440 billion.
It is not surprising that CC1 participates in the North-South expressway project phase 2, because before that CC1 has had experience and quality foundation built for more than 4 decades.
