UBND TP.Cần Thơ mới đây đã tổ chức Lễ công bố quyết định chủ trương đầu tư và trao giấy chứng nhận đăng ký đầu tư cho 2 dự án, trong đó có Dự án đầu tư và kinh doanh kết cấu hạ tầng Khu công nghiệp Đại Ngãi.

Dự án đầu tư xây dựng và kinh doanh kết cấu hạ tầng Khu công nghiệp Đại Ngãi (KCN Đại Ngãi) được UBND TP.Cần Thơ chấp thuận chủ trương đầu tư đồng thời chấp thuận nhà đầu tư tại Quyết định số 2246/QĐ-UBND ngày 15/5/2026.
The Dai Ngai Industrial Park, invested by Dai Ngai Industrial Park Co., Ltd., covers an area of 196 hectares and is located in Dai Ngai commune, Can Tho city (formerly Long Duc commune, Long Phu district, Soc Trang province), with a total investment of over 2,915 billion VND. Of this, the investor's contributed capital is over 437 billion VND, accounting for 15% of the total investment, while mobilized capital amounts to nearly 2,478 billion VND, accounting for 85% of the total investment. The project's operating period is 50 years from the date the investor is granted a land lease by the state.
Regarding the planning scope and boundaries, the project is bordered to the east by National Highway 91B and partly by the Hau River; to the west by approximately 65m from the Ba Sam canal bank; to the south by the edge of the rural road along the Bao Bien canal; and to the north by approximately 55m from the centerline of the planned road connecting to the Dai Ngai bridge. This location gives the Dai Ngai Industrial Park an advantage in connecting with the road and waterway transport systems, especially the area along the Hau River and the connecting axis via National Highway 91B.
Dai Ngai Industrial Park is oriented towards development as a multi-sector industrial park. The sectors expected to attract include textiles and footwear; mechanical engineering and machinery manufacturing; agricultural and aquatic product processing; animal feed and aquatic feed production; building materials, wood products, furniture, packaging; and supporting industries serving domestic production, consumption, and export.
When operational, the project is expected to employ approximately 10,240 – 12,800 people. With a scale of 196 hectares, Dai Ngai Industrial Park is expected to create additional industrial land, attract businesses to invest in production and trade, thereby contributing to promoting economic restructuring in the locality.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Tran Nguyen Phuong Nam – General Director of Dai Ngai Industrial Park Co., Ltd. expressed that the company's receipt of the Decision approving the investment policy and simultaneously approving the investor for the Dai Ngai Industrial Park project is an important legal milestone, affirming the attention and trust of the leaders of Can Tho City; and at the same time opening up opportunities to develop a modern, green, and sustainable industrial park, contributing to expanding industrial space, creating jobs and promoting socio-economic development in the Mekong Delta region.
Mr. Tran Nguyen Phuong Nam stated that the company will focus its resources to ensure the project is implemented on schedule, closely coordinating compensation, resettlement, and completion of legal procedures; while simultaneously developing the industrial park with a green and modern orientation, proactively attracting capable investors with advanced technology, creating high added value, and enhancing the city's competitiveness.

On behalf of the Can Tho City government leadership, Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Cong Ly stated that Dai Ngai Industrial Park and Tan Hoa Industrial Park are of particular importance in the city's industrial development strategy.
The Dai Ngai Industrial Park, located in the southeastern part of the city, is an area with significant potential for industrial, logistics, and marine economic development. This industrial park not only contributes to the efficient utilization of land resources and creates jobs for local people but also opens up opportunities for connectivity with strategic infrastructure projects in the coastal region, gradually forming an industrial-logistics-service development corridor in the southeastern part of the city.
On behalf of the leaders of the People's Committee of Can Tho City, Mr. Le Cong Ly emphasized: "The People's Committee of the city is committed to always accompanying businesses and investors. The success of businesses is also the success of the city. We will continue to improve the investment environment, enhance governance efficiency, accelerate administrative procedure reforms, and focus on removing bottlenecks to create the most favorable conditions for projects to be implemented on schedule and become operational soon."
Dai Ngai Industrial Park Co., Ltd. (headquarters address: Provincial Road 8, Hoi Trung Hamlet, Lich Hoi Thuong Commune, Can Tho City) was established in 2024, with Construction Corporation No. 1 - JSC (CC1) contributing 48% of capital.
