On May 26, 2023, CC1 as a member of the EPC General Contractor consortium in charge of the entire construction and installation part of the main factory, poured the first large batch of concrete foundation for the project. Quang Trach 1 Thermal Power Plant. With a volume of 2560 m³ for the generator turbine category of unit #1, this is the first large concrete batch of the project this year.

Quang Trach 1 Thermal Power Plant Project is a national key project in the energy field, which is expected to create a new breakthrough for the development of the energy industry of Quang Binh province.

Accordingly, in order to ensure the safe and convenient construction work, CC1 as well as the subcontractor carefully reviewed the preparation, allotment of human resources and equipment for continuous construction of 3 shifts. The number of mobilized human resources is up to 130 people.

With the drastic direction from the Management Board of Quang Trach I Thermal Power Plant and the determination of subcontractors, the first large batch of concrete block of the project was completed at 12 noon on May 27, 2023, surpassing planned progress.

Immediately after completing the concreting, CC1 and the contractor carried out the maintenance work in accordance with the approved construction methods to ensure the quality required by the project.

In general, as of May 27, 2023 CC1 has completed the entire construction of bored piles of the plant, marking an important milestone of the project. With the construction exceeding the committed schedule 45 days, CC1 has received good reviews and high trust in project implementation from the investor and the consortium partners.

According to the schedule committed with the Investor, the time to complete the foundation for main items such as boiler, Turbine is expected on January 23, 2024. CC1 and the contractors are all trying their best to complete the work and put it into commercial operation in 2026.

This is an impressive achievement for the CC1 engineering team, which is the driving force for CC1 to continue to create works that exceed expectations and are sustainable under the test of time.
