On the morning of September 28, 2023, Construction Corporation No. 1 - Joint Stock Company (CC1) organized a traffic opening ceremony for Muoi Thuoc bridge in Binh Thanh commune, Phung Hiep district, Hau Giang province, funded by CC1. This is a social security program with special meaning, part of a series of activities to celebrate the 44th anniversary of the Corporation's founding. (October 1, 1979 – October 1, 2023).
Attending the traffic opening ceremony was the presence of Mr. Bach Viet Men - Secretary of Binh Thanh Commune Party Committee; Mr. Nguyen Van Hau - Vice Chairman of Binh Thanh Commune People's Committee; Mr. Phan Thien Hue - Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Thanh commune and local leaders and officials. On CC1's side, there was the participation of Mr. Nguyen Hoang Hung - In charge of the Communications Department, Chairman of the Corporation's Trade Union; Mr. Le Tuan Anh - Commander of the Steering Committee of Can Tho - Hau Giang Expressway Project and members of the Project Executive Board.
The existing Muoi Thuoc Bridge located on the Binh Thanh inter-commune road is a reinforced concrete bridge built a long time ago. Over time, the bridge has seriously degraded, causing many difficulties for local people to circulate and transport goods.
Faced with this situation, CC1 has supported funding to build Muoi Thuoc people's bridge with a length of 28m, a width of 2m, a bridge load of 1 ton with 2 motorbike lanes, and was constructed within 02 months. Total construction cost is nearly 200 million VND.
It is known that in Hau Giang province, CC1 is constructing the North - South Eastern expressway project for the period 2021 - 2025 including: Component project of Can Tho - Hau Giang section, package XL01 and Thanh Hoa expressway project. Hau Giang - Ca Mau section, package XL03.
This project is expected to create a "new backbone" connecting intra-regional and inter-regional areas; through the North-South expressway from the city. HCM - Trung Luong - My Thuan - Can Tho to Ca Mau, connecting the horizontal highways Chau Doc - Can Tho - Soc Trang and Ha Tien - Rach Gia - Bac Lieu in the future.
Not stopping at activities contributing to social security (CSR), Muoi Thuoc People's Bridge is a testament to CC1's efforts and seriousness in construction work, paving the way to gather materials for the project. projects, ensuring project progress, demonstrating the professionalism and enthusiasm of the enterprise in each of its projects.
Along with focusing on the efficiency of production and business activities and increasing market share, CC1 always promotes social security activities with practical volunteer programs in many localities such as: Donating 05 billion copper for the great solidarity house building program in Dien Bien province; sponsoring the construction of 10 bridges with a total value of more than 05 billion VND in Ben Tre province (completed Nguyen Thi Tai bridge, Qui Thuan B hamlet, Hoa Loi commune, Thanh Phu district worth 1,583 billion VND); donated 1 billion VND to the Fund for the Poor of Ben Tre province; sponsored 300 million VND for the restoration program in Huong Que Nam village, Que Phu commune, Que Son district, Quang Nam province and volunteer programs in many other localities.
