Top 10 Green ESG Enterprises in Vietnam 2025 – Construction Industry (ESG10-2025). Construction Corporation No. 1 (CC1) is honored to be recognized in the group of infrastructure developers and electrical and telecommunications construction companies, thanks to its strong commitment and concrete actions in sustainable development.
Being named in the ESG ranking just three months after being named among the Top 10 Reputable Infrastructure and Industrial Construction Contractors 2025 by Vietnam Report shows that CC1 is on the right track in its strategy of building a sustainable business, linking reputation, construction capacity, and responsibility towards the environment, society, and governance.
According to the organizers, the ESG10-2025 ranking not only measures operational efficiency but also assesses the ability to integrate ESG elements into a company's strategy, governance, and operations according to international standards. This is also an important basis for financial institutions, investors, and the community to choose entities with long-term development orientations, transparency, and responsibility.
With a sustainable vision, CC1 identifies ESG as a crucial pillar in its business development strategy. During the 2025-2026 period, CC1 will focus on perfecting its system of sustainable development measurement and reporting indicators, while integrating ESG into internal processes, aiming for official announcement at the General Shareholders' Meeting starting in 2025. From 2027-2030, CC1 aims to become a trusted partner in sustainable development in the eyes of international organizations, investors, and the local community.
Not stopping at mere declarations of commitment, CC1 is gradually realizing ESG in its actual operations. Given the global construction industry's report on air pollution (23%), climate change impact (50%), water pollution (40%), and landfill waste (50%) (according to GoContractor and the US Green Building Council – USGBC), CC1 has proactively implemented a series of practical measures to minimize environmental impact during construction.
Some typical solutions include: using energy-efficient and low-emission construction equipment; strictly controlling noise, dust, and wastewater throughout the project lifecycle; shielding the construction area and covering materials during transportation; and training technical staff and workers to raise awareness of green construction practices. These environmental requirements are integrated from the design phase, through subcontractor selection, to the final acceptance of the project.
Thanks to its sustainable development orientation and superior construction capabilities, CC1 has been asserting its pioneering position in the construction sector in Vietnam for over 45 years.
