On the morning of December 19th, the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee commenced the construction of the Youth Cultural Center at 4 Pham Ngoc Thach Street, Saigon Ward, Ho Chi Minh City.

The Youth Cultural Center holds a special place in the cultural and spiritual life of Ho Chi Minh City. Through various stages of development, it has not only served as a space for organizing cultural, artistic, and educational activities, but also as a "common home" for the youth movement, a place that fosters ideals, a spirit of dedication, and a desire to contribute among the city's young generations.


Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, said: "The groundbreaking ceremony today demonstrates the high political determination of the Party Committee, the Government, and the people of the city in caring for and investing in the younger generation – the vanguard and core force, playing a particularly important role in the sustainable development of Ho Chi Minh City."
The Youth Cultural Center project is invested by the Ho Chi Minh City Civil and Industrial Construction Project Management Board. The construction unit is a consortium of Construction Corporation No. 1 – JSC (CC1), Construction Company No. 5, and Group 202 Joint Stock Company.
Representing the Contractor Consortium, Mr. Nguyen Van Ngoc – Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of CC1 They expressed: “We are extremely honored and proud to have been entrusted by the Investor with the responsibility of constructing a project of special cultural and social significance; a space for living, creating, and comprehensively developing for generations of young people in the city.”
At the same time, he also affirmed his determination with four commitments to the Party and State leaders, the local government, and the people of Ho Chi Minh City:

The Youth Cultural Center will be a multi-functional complex with 4 basement floors and 21 above-ground floors, with a total construction floor area of 93,506.26 m² and a total investment of VND 2,240.393 billion, making it a Group A public investment project.
The building is not only a community center but also a modern, environmentally friendly architectural landmark, with an event plaza capable of accommodating over 10,000 people.
The four underground levels, built with over 778 parking spaces, not only meet internal needs but also have nearly half of their capacity available for public parking in the surrounding area, particularly connecting to the underground space and the S13 and S3 metro stations in the city center.
The combination of indoor and outdoor spaces will facilitate operational activities, integrating flexible functions within a single complex, from the event square (1st floor), the 500-700 seat auditorium (3rd floor), to the Youth Science and Technology Center, the Entrepreneurship Center (12th and 13th floors), and the skills training classrooms (18th-20th floors) and outdoor areas.
