On the morning of June 19th, at the headquarters of Construction Corporation No. 1 – JSC (CC1), the Ho Chi Minh City Construction and Building Materials Association (SACA) held its second Executive Board meeting of 2025 – term IX (2025 – 2030), with the participation of numerous Executive Board members, Inspection Board members, Advisory Council members, and representatives from affiliated units.

As the host organization, CC1 has played an active role in supporting the business community in building and promoting industry connections and cooperation, as well as spreading the spirit of sustainable development – a strategy that the company has pursued for many years.
Over 46 years of formation and development, CC1 has made its mark on many key national projects, affirming its capabilities in three core areas: construction, investment, and production & trading of construction materials. With a solid financial foundation and a modern technological orientation, CC1 is expanding its construction market share, gradually asserting its position as a leading contractor in Vietnam and reaching out to the international market.
CC1's sustainable development strategy is reflected not only in its construction efficiency and operational capabilities, but also in its clear commitment to the environment and social responsibility. CC1 prioritizes green construction solutions and the application of advanced technologies to minimize the impact on local resources and ecosystems.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Phan Huu Duy Quoc – Chairman of the Board of Directors of Construction Corporation No. 1 (CC1), and Vice President of the SACA Association, emphasized: “Promoting linkages between businesses, green transformation, and deep international integration are essential directions for the sustainable development of the construction industry and keeping pace with global trends. As one of the pioneering enterprises in the construction sector in Vietnam, CC1 always strives to meet international standards and spread sustainable values to the community. We are proud and honored to host this Executive Board meeting and welcome delegates and SACA members to our company headquarters.”

At the conclusion of the meeting, the SACA Association unanimously approved several key priorities for the 9th term (2025–2030), including organizational restructuring, strategic direction until 2030, and the implementation of a series of specific action programs.
The association aims to operate in 10 areas, grouping members into 6 professions, operating under a 4-pillar and 4-block operational model, along with many outstanding initiatives such as SACA Insight, SACA Pro, Tea & ConXtech, Member Visit Tour, SACA Award, Family Trip… At the same time, SACA has also completed its legal documents and amended charter, which were approved by the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee on June 13, 2025, laying the foundation for a new phase of development.
Hosting this meeting not only demonstrates CC1's sense of responsibility but also strengthens its position within the construction industry cooperation network in Vietnam.
