On June 11, 2026, a delegation from Construction Corporation No. 1 – JSC (CC1) held a working session with the leaders of the People's Committee of Cao Bang province to exchange and explore potential cooperation in investment and development of industrial, energy, and transportation infrastructure projects, as well as exploiting the local resource strengths in the coming period.

On the Cao Bang province side, the working session was attended by Mr. Le Hai Hoa – Alternate Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Chairman of the People's Committee of Cao Bang province; Mr. Vu Dinh Quang – Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Cao Bang province; along with representatives from the Department of Construction, the Department of Industry and Trade, the Department of Finance, the Department of Agriculture and Environment, the Provincial Economic Zone Management Board, and other relevant units.
On CC1's side, the delegation was led by Mr. Le Bao Anh - General Director of CC1 and Mr. Le Viet Hoai - Deputy General Director of CC1, along with representatives from specialized departments and experts of the Corporation.

During the meeting, the leaders of Cao Bang province provided an overview of the province's socio-economic development potential, particularly its outstanding advantages in mineral resources, geoeconomic location, and border trade connections. Cao Bang is considered a province with abundant mineral resources, including many valuable minerals, especially bauxite ore, along with potential for developing deep processing industries. Furthermore, the advantage of its border gate opens up significant opportunities for the development of logistics, industrial production, and import/export of goods.

Provincial leaders also shared their development orientations for processing, mining, logistics, and infrastructure industries in the coming period. However, one of the crucial factors that needs to be promoted to complete the local industrial value chain is energy infrastructure. Therefore, the province hopes to welcome capable, experienced, and resourceful businesses like CC1 to explore investment opportunities, cooperate, and partner with the locality in the development process.

During the meeting, representatives from CC1 provided an overview of the company's capabilities and experience, with nearly 47 years of development in the fields of construction, investment, and building materials production. Currently, CC1 possesses comprehensive strengths in three key areas: transportation infrastructure, civil and industrial construction, and is gradually expanding its role from a construction contractor to an infrastructure investor.
In the industrial and energy sectors, CC1 has participated in the implementation of numerous large-scale projects nationwide. Particularly in key thermal power projects such as Quang Trach 1, CC1 acted as the EPC general contractor, thereby demonstrating its capacity to manage, coordinate, and implement projects with high technical requirements and complex scale. In addition, the company also possesses extensive experience in investing in and constructing hydropower plants, heavy industrial facilities, and energy infrastructure across the country.
In addition to its construction capabilities, CC1 actively participates in investment projects under BOT, PPP, BT models and other forms of investment cooperation, especially in the fields of transportation infrastructure, industry, energy, and industrial park development. This is considered a foundation for the company to expand its role in the project value chain, while creating sustainable and long-term value for the locality and its partners.

The meeting opened up potential cooperation opportunities between CC1 and Cao Bang province in the future. Based on the strengths and development orientations of each side, CC1 expects to work alongside the locality to research investment opportunities, develop infrastructure, energy and industry, contributing to the efficient exploitation of resources, promoting the formation of a complete industrial ecosystem and creating momentum for sustainable development for Cao Bang province in the future.
