CC1 WITH THE CONVENTION OFFICIALLY SIGNED A CONTRACT TO IMPLEMENT THE EPC PACKAGE – MAIN PLANT OF NA DUONG II THERMAL POWER PLANT (1X110 MW)


On the morning of December 28, 2023, CC1 and the members of the CC1 - DR Contractor Consortium (China) officially signed the Contract to implement Package No. 28 - Main Factory of Na Duong II Thermal Power Plant Project by the Corporation. TKV Electricity Company – Joint Stock Company is the Investor.

Attending the Signing Ceremony, on the side of TKV Electricity Corporation - JSC, there was the presence of Mr. Ngo The Phiet - Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Ngo Tri Thinh - Party Committee Secretary - General Director, Mr. Bui Minh Tan - Deputy General Director and managers of departments. On the contractor side of Construction Corporation No. 1 - Joint Stock Company (CC1) there are Mr. Le Bao Anh - General Director, Mr. Dinh Van Hung - Deputy General Director. On the side of DR contractor (China), there is Mr. Xu Yi - Sales Director of the Group; representatives of Power Construction Consulting Joint Stock Company 1 and related delegates and guests.

Na Duong II Thermal Power Plant project is invested and built in Loc Binh district, Lang Son province. Capacity scale is 110 MW, including 1 unit, using CFB boiler + 01 turbine + 01 generator with operating hours of about 6,500 hours/year. The above bidding package costs nearly 3,315 billion VND, the main content of the bidding package is survey, design, manufacturing, supply, transportation, delivery, loading and unloading at the construction site, insurance, construction, installation, inspection, testing, adjustment, acceptance, trial running, training, technology transfer and warranty for all works/materials and equipment for the project. The contract implementation period is 30 months, a package contract type.

Perspective of Na Duong Thermal Power Plant Project II

After more than 1 month of focused negotiations in Hanoi, CC1 and joint venture partner DR combined with subcontractors have made efforts to find many solutions to optimize techniques and costs for the Investor. The process of preparing bid documents and negotiating contracts is extremely difficult and stressful. But with the determination of the members of the Joint Venture and the Subcontractors and the support from the Investor, in the end, the CC1-DR Joint Venture successfully surpassed 02 other international contractor groups to be officially selected. choose to sign a project implementation contract. In which CC1, as the leader of the Joint Venture, carries out a proportion of work accounting for about 85%.

Representing the CC1 - DR Contractor Joint Venture speaking at the Signing Ceremony, Mr. Le Bao Anh - General Director of CC1 shared: " With a total time of survey, design, installation, commissioning, operation, and handover in just 30 months (shorter than a project of similar scale) and costs have been minimized. This is indeed a big challenge for the Contractor Joint Venture.” However, Mr. Le Bao Anh also affirmed that, with the spirit of determination and professional working attitude, CC1 and the members of the Contractor Joint Venture are committed to making efforts to complete the project on schedule and ensure quality. , labor safety and environment at construction sites; contributing to helping the Investor successfully carry out the investment tasks assigned in Power Planning VIII.

For hydroelectric projects, we can mention Tri An Hydroelectric Plant (Dong Nai, capacity 400 MW) - the first power source project in the South after the milestone of unifying the country; Thac Mo Hydroelectric Plant (Binh Phuoc, capacity 150 MW); Dak R'tih Hydropower Plant (Dak Nong, capacity 144 MW);...Regarding thermal power projects, CC1 completed many key national projects, including: Nghi Son 1 Thermal Power Plant (Thanh Hoa, 2×300 MW); Nghi Son 2 Thermal Power Plant (Thanh Hoa, capacity 1,200 MW); Van Phong 1 BOT Thermal Power Plant (Khanh Hoa, capacity 1,320 MW);…Most recently, CC1 was honored to compete with two international contractors: Mitsubishi Corporation (Japan) and Huyndai Engineering and Construction (Hyundai E&C – Korea) in the Joint Venture won the EPC Package worth up to 30 trillion VND at the Quang Trach 1 Thermal Power Plant project (Quang Binh, total capacity of 1,200 MW). In addition, CC1 is also a contractor for the construction of renewable energy projects such as: TTC 1 and TTC 2 Solar Power Plants in Tay Ninh province, Ham Kiem Wind Power (Binh Thuan); Khai Long wind power (Ca Mau).

On the future development journey, CC1 wishes to continue to be selected as the EPC General Contractor for other Power Plant and Industrial Plant projects of Vinacomin Power as well as other Investors. CC1 is confident that it can provide perfect services to Investors, contributing to ensuring energy security and implementing industrialization and modernization of the country.
