In 2023, CC1, together with the consortium of contractors and consulting units, has made efforts to overcome difficulties and successfully complete the progress milestones committed at the 2023 emulation launching ceremony. Specifically, exceeding the target. Construction progress of foundation items: turbine (3 months ahead of schedule); chimney (3 months ahead of schedule); central control house (1 month ahead of schedule); Besides, the construction of the foundation of the boiler items, water and wastewater treatment systems... all met the competition goal when completed on schedule.

In particular, the project does not allow environmental incidents or occupational accidents to occur. Up to now, the project has achieved more than 4 million safe working hours...

It is known that the Quang Trach I Thermal Power Plant project with supercritical technology plays an important role in meeting domestic electricity needs, especially in the Central and Southern regions of Vietnam. Despite facing challenges, CC1 and the contractor consortium always actively work with the investor and related units to closely coordinate and support each other. Through this emulation movement, CC1 and the contractor consortium set a goal of reaching 61% construction progress by 2024, including pre-commissioning of the water treatment system, thereby setting goals and timelines. As a premise to continue promoting the completion of the entire project and putting commercial power generation into operation in 2026, contributing to the economic development of Quang Binh province and ensuring supply to the national 500Kv power grid.
