Recently, the Vietnam Construction Industry Sustainable Development Forum – VSCF 2025 took place in Ho Chi Minh City, bringing together over 500 delegates representing state management agencies, experts, businesses, professional associations, financial institutions, international organizations, and media outlets. The event was organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Association of Construction and Building Materials (SACA), with the sponsorship and support of the Ministry of Construction, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, and the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI).
CC1 ranks among the Top 3 pioneering construction contractors in sustainable development.
A highlight of VSCF 2025 is the first-ever awarding of international green building certifications such as LEED, LOTUS, EDGE, and BRI within the framework of a specialized construction forum in Vietnam. This activity clearly affirms the message that sustainable development is no longer just a commitment or a guideline, but has moved to a stage where it is measured, evaluated, and certified using specific international standards.
In parallel, the VSCF 2025 organizing committee honored 17 pioneering enterprises in sustainable development in Vietnam's construction industry, a number symbolizing the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations.

The businesses were recognized as pioneers in technological innovation, ESG governance, emission reduction, efficient resource utilization, and significant positive contributions to the community… In this list, Construction Corporation No. 1 – JSC (CC1) ranked among the Top 3 outstanding construction contractors honored at the event.
This is the first award organized within the framework of the VSCF Awards, presented by the Ho Chi Minh City Association of Construction and Building Materials, to recognize businesses that have made outstanding contributions to promoting sustainable development through technological innovation, ESG governance, emission reduction, and enhanced social responsibility throughout the entire construction value chain.

Within this overall picture, CC1's recognition at VSCF 2025 further acknowledges its past efforts and reaffirms its increasingly prominent role in the green transformation of Vietnam's construction industry. Through the implementation of a series of large-scale infrastructure, transportation, and civil engineering projects nationwide, CC1 is gradually realizing its ESG commitments through concrete actions, contributing to improved resource efficiency, reduced environmental impact, and increased long-term value for society.
Positioned as a national-scale annual forum, VSCF serves as a platform for policy dialogue, business networking, and promoting green transformation for Vietnam's construction industry, in the context of the nation aiming for net-zero emissions by 2050.
The discussions at VSCF 2025 focused on key pillars such as perfecting policies for green building, ESG transformation in construction and building materials businesses, application of environmentally friendly technologies and materials, green finance – carbon credits, sustainable urban development and climate change adaptation infrastructure…
Commitment to sustainable development with a long-term strategy.
Not only was CC1 honored as one of the Top 3 pioneering sustainable construction contractors at VSCF 2025, but it was also previously recognized by Viet Research and the Finance and Investment Newspaper as one of the Top 10 Green ESG Enterprises in Vietnam 2025 – Construction Sector, in the Infrastructure and Electrical-Telecommunications Construction Developer group. These consecutive recognitions show that CC1's sustainable development orientation is not short-term, but is implemented systematically, consistently, and with a clear roadmap.

Throughout its more than 46-year journey of formation and development in the fields of construction, investment, and manufacturing and trading of building materials, CC1 has steadfastly pursued a sustainable growth strategy, in which ESG is identified as a key pillar, alongside innovation and comprehensive digital transformation. This orientation is not just a strategic choice, but has been realized through concrete actions throughout the entire value chain of the enterprise.
In the environmental field, CC1 proactively implements green construction solutions such as using energy-saving equipment and limiting emissions; strictly controlling dust, noise, and wastewater throughout the project lifecycle; shielding construction areas; and managing materials during transportation and construction. Environmental protection requirements are integrated throughout the design phase, from subcontractor selection to acceptance testing, ensuring consistency, transparency, and compliance with technical standards.
In parallel with ESG, CC1 is promoting digital transformation across its entire operational ecosystem, viewing technology as a lever to enhance productivity, quality, and management efficiency. BIM technology is widely applied in design, construction, and supervision, helping to optimize progress, costs, and control risks. The CC1-XBOSS digital management ecosystem is gradually forming a digitized operations center, connecting site management, finance, and human resources. In particular, the application of artificial intelligence in human resource management is opening up a new approach, helping CC1 improve operational efficiency and build a sustainable succession team.
Recognizing that people are the foundation of all innovation, CC1 also focuses on developing its human resources in a systematic and long-term manner. The company continuously organizes in-depth training programs, technical conferences, and builds competency frameworks according to international standards, aiming to enhance the expertise, modern thinking, and adaptability of its engineers and management staff.
These foundations are also one of the key levers that helped CC1's series of key projects shorten construction timelines, achieving completion on December 19th from the first technical flight at the Long Thanh Airport Construction Investment Project – Phase 1; the inauguration ceremony of the Dak Nong General Hospital upgrade project; the technical opening of the Khanh Hoa – Buon Ma Thuot expressway, the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3; the Can Tho – Ca Mau expressway…
The synergistic combination of superior construction capabilities, modern management, and environmental and social responsibility is the foundation that has enabled CC1 to continuously affirm its position in key national infrastructure projects. Simultaneously, recognition from prestigious organizations confirms its status as a large-scale, responsible infrastructure contractor, ready to partner with the green development trend of the Vietnamese construction industry.
