On the afternoon of March 12, 2026, at the headquarters of Construction Corporation No. 1 – JSC (CC1), CC1 held a meeting with representatives of Artelia Group to discuss cooperation opportunities in the field of infrastructure and urban transportation.

Attending the meeting, on behalf of CC1 were Mr. Phan Huu Duy Quoc - Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khoi - Director of the Economic and Construction Division, along with representatives from the technical, business development, and project management departments.

Representing Artelia were Mr. Eric Gratton – Director of Artelia Vietnam, Mr. Dong Nam – Director of Business Development for Data Center and Industrial sectors, and several representatives from other fields.

During the meeting, representatives from CC1 provided an overview of their capabilities, experience in implementing large-scale infrastructure projects, and development orientation for the coming period. Recently, CC1 has continued to be entrusted by localities and state management agencies with the implementation of many projects of significant importance to the urban landscape and core infrastructure, such as the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Cultural Center, Terminal 2 of Dong Hoi Airport, and typical PPP projects such as Cat Lai Bridge and Long Hung Bridge (Dong Nai 2 Bridge)...

At the same time, the two sides exchanged views on potential projects related to metro systems, urban transport infrastructure, and data centers, areas that are receiving significant attention as Vietnam accelerates investment in modern infrastructure and digital transformation.

The exchange also provided an opportunity for both sides to share experiences in managing and implementing complex engineering projects, and to discuss potential collaborations on projects in Vietnam and internationally. With extensive international experience in engineering consulting, planning, and project management, Artelia is expected to bring valuable professional insights and solutions to large-scale infrastructure projects.

Besides construction activities, CC1 is gradually expanding its development strategy towards general contracting and investment, strengthening international cooperation to access new technologies, management models, and investment opportunities.

The meeting between CC1 and Artelia is expected to open up prospects for cooperation in strategic infrastructure areas, especially in urban rail networks and high-speed rail, while also contributing to promoting connections between international construction and consulting firms and Vietnam's rapidly developing infrastructure market.

Notably, in the field of urban rail, CC1 is one of the domestic enterprises that has directly participated in the construction of important components of Metro Line 1 (Ben Thanh – Suoi Tien), including the two underground stations, City Theatre and Ba Son. Building on practical experience from large-scale infrastructure projects, CC1 is gradually developing a roadmap to acquire and master key technologies such as TBM (Tunnel Boring Machine) technology, tunnel construction techniques in urban areas, and the installation of underground rail systems.

This is considered an important foundation for businesses to continue expanding cooperation with international partners, ready to participate more deeply in metro and high-speed rail projects, as well as emerging infrastructure sectors in the future.
