On the morning of December 5, 2025, Construction Corporation No. 1 – JSC (CC1) welcomed a delegation from the Japanese Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) as part of a visit to explore cooperation opportunities in the Vietnamese market. This was an opportunity for both sides to connect, share experiences, and discuss new development directions in the field of infrastructure construction, one of the strategic pillars that both CC1 and MLIT prioritize.
On CC1's side, the meeting was attended by Mr. Phan Huu Duy Quoc – Chairman of the Board of Directors of CC1, along with representatives from the technical and business development departments. The Japanese delegation included Mr. Ito Kento – Representative of the Japanese Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT), along with several businesses in the construction and infrastructure sector.

The meeting took place in an open and highly professional atmosphere, with both sides exchanging views on strengths, implementation models, and construction experiences in key projects, particularly in the fields of expressways, urban metro lines, and complex transportation infrastructure.

At the meeting, MLIT highly appreciated CC1's construction capabilities, brand reputation, and increasingly strong position on Vietnam's infrastructure map, demonstrated through a series of national projects such as sections of the North-South Expressway, Long Thanh Airport, Tan Son Nhat Terminal 3… along with many key industrial and energy projects such as Na Duong II Thermal Power Plant and Quang Trach I Thermal Power Plant…
Over its 46-year journey, CC1 has built a rare and comprehensive capability platform in the market, developing synchronously across all three core areas: industrial, civil, and transportation – technical infrastructure. This comprehensiveness has become a distinguishing feature, creating a unique position for CC1 within the ecosystem of Vietnamese construction businesses.
Mr. Phan Huu Duy Quoc – Chairman of the Board of Directors of CC1, also shared about typical projects bearing the mark of Vietnam-Japan cooperation such as Ba Son Station and Opera Station, works that demonstrate the exchange of techniques, technologies and a disciplined spirit in construction. With the spirit of Vietnam-Japan cooperation, CC1 affirms that it has learned a lot of experience in the field of bridge and road construction from the Japanese engineering team as well as the positive characteristics that the Japanese people bring.
"This meeting is a great honor for CC1, and it opens new doors for strategic collaborations with Japanese businesses in the future, contributing to raising our international standing and creating more motivation for the CC1 team on our journey to conquer a series of upcoming multinational projects," he said.

Beyond simply sharing expertise, the meeting also opened up avenues for future cooperation between CC1 and MLIT, based on sustainable development, technology transfer, and market expansion in urban infrastructure, especially in the context of Vietnam promoting PPP models and mechanisms to attract foreign investment.
The MLIT delegation also spent time learning in detail about two projects that CC1 is currently constructing: the An Phu Interchange and the pedestrian bridge over the Saigon River. These projects not only highlight the speed, quality, and innovation in Ho Chi Minh City's infrastructure development, but also demonstrate CC1's position, prestige, and professionalism, earning the trust of the City leadership and the Department of Construction.
Concluding the meeting, CC1 affirmed its readiness to cooperate and partner with MLIT on suitable projects, aiming to jointly create modern, civilized, and internationally standardized constructions for Vietnam.
This event marks a new milestone in the journey of integration and expansion of global cooperation for CC1, Vietnam's leading infrastructure contractor, as it gradually elevates its position in the regional market.
